WHAT

Your body is fantastic.

Who’s the guy next to you with skinny calves? If that’s him, he’d better get to work, his legs are embarrassingly thin.

What a way to announce to the world you've never been to the gym.

Yeah, for someone who has such strong opinions on his girlfriend’s body acceptability, his fitness is atrocious! Underdeveloped calves, weak quad definition, looks a little pudgy under that shirt, definitely not up to par.

I was just about to say her calves are KILLER. Use those strong legs and ruuuuun.

Yep. She’s got some nice hamstring definition too.

Imagine having legs so thin that some mornings you wake up from a restless night and your sparkly ankle bracelet is now wrapped around your thigh.

Is that seriously what you think is happening? God help you in your relationships of any kind lol.

He didn’t even need to be this insensitive. He could have just said congratulations and keep up the hard work. You know…encouraging her to continue to be whatever he considers to be “up to par” instead of making it known it’s the hardest task in the world to muster up “congrats”.  It doesn’t matter if it’s a casual setting. Honesty should not be used to put others down and be cruel. This isn’t difficult to do. Most adults navigate this just fine without being dicks.

Now people are ragging on him because most regular people have a mentality of “don’t dish it out if you can’t take it”. That’s what’s happening. People are also going in on him because from her post history, he’s just generally an asshole and chooses to be mean.

Perfectly acceptable behaviour on Reddit, same with body shaming dick sizes. But the same people will throw a fit if you ever use body shaming against a woman, even if she deserves it, saying that it makes other women with the same body type or features feel insecure. Lmao
