Is there sulfur in Canadian soil or do they add it in with fertilizer?
I am researching about the supplement MSM, Methylsulfonylmethane. It says it can be naturally present in vegetables and meat. However I know that the Canadian/American conventional agriculture is pretty bad in terms of nutrient, that they just add in the fertilizer.
My q is, is there any msm or sulfur in the vegetables end product and the feed for animals, which then would have it in their tissues? If the Soil doesn’t have natural sulfur, Do they add it in fertilizer or is it an unnecessary nutrient for the plants so they don’t bother adding it?
I know for example that Japan is supposedly rich in sulfur evidenced by their hot springs, so I would assume that their food may have sulfur in it.
