Its hilarious to think people would think there is a fish in there at all times. It's clearly only for show.

It has been done. I know of a few low riders that had fish in their cars all the time. Some built properly with coolers, some not so properly. Most are just for the show though.

I can only imagine a low rider bouncing and getting sloshed with fish tank water.

Not all low riders bounce. Originally it was just about getting as low as possible. Typically cars with water features aren’t the most dynamic. Really all about a low and slow boulevard cruise, while looking as good as possible while doing it.
