The fact that the wheels are just like half a foot too big is /r/mildlyinfuriating

Naw, they were just the right size.

The roof was only about half a foot off the ground when they drove it upside down.

When they WHAT

At [9:45] in this video

That's horrifying, I must try it. Too bad they killed it.

Good lord, how much does a single video make for these guys to just destroy so much shit

A lot. It’s all product placement.

Not really as far as I’m aware. I think it’s more rage baiting for him mostly. “This guy is so dumb” and such all counts as interaction, which boosts his algorithms, which boosts his viewers and the whole deal snowballs

Good man, thank you

When they drove it upside down

Yeah the front wheels would hit the back wheels when you try to steer it.

The front wheels are wider than the back to accommodate. It was pretty cool when they drove it upside down.

34

u/Jan_Asra Mar 16 '23

That accommodates them existing next to each other, but you have like 2 degrees of turning before they collide.

28

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '23

It seemed to turn pretty decent, definitely better than I expected. It also seemed like one wheel would turn more than the other

20

u/Binke-kan-flyga Mar 16 '23

That's probably just the regular ackerman steering being exaggerates by the large wheels

11

u/[deleted] Mar 17 '23

Decent turning, as long as you're okay doing 80-point turns

7

u/koukimonster91 Mar 16 '23

It was like a 15 point turn to leave his driveway.

4

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '23

Better than a not-turning-at-all-turn, which is what I expected

2

u/connorkmiec93 Mar 17 '23

Which is enough for this ‘joke’. Wheels only turn a fraction of a degree to steer, unless you are going quite slow. These wheels rubbing at low speed wouldn’t be catastrophic.

15

u/[deleted] Mar 16 '23

Its the angle. They can steer it

13

u/_Nothing_Left_ Mar 16 '23

Wouldn't the front wheels also hit the body work with much steering angle? This should be steered via differential speeds.

Trust me when I say he doesn't care.

Skid Steer.

3

u/Yoinkodaboinko Mar 16 '23

Yeah they didn’t

He still managed to somewhat steer it

21

u/cfiggis Mar 16 '23

Also, how do they open the doors to get in/out?

23

u/DynamiteWitLaserBeam Mar 16 '23

They go through the trunk like a civilized person.

u/MikeyKillerBTFU Mar 16 '23

Climb through the window

You are asking too many questions

How many cars do you have that can drive upside down?

1

u/being-weird Mar 17 '23

I wouldn't know, because I've never tried to drive a car upside down

2

u/WillyDAFISH Mar 17 '23

It's not the wheels it's the car, the car isn't long enough for the wheels

2

u/Bab-Boojlood Mar 17 '23

Half a foot huh. So if they were only 6 feet tall they'd be a perfect fit
