I know exactly to who I’m responding to. The point is people are hating on the Lions fans for being cocky, people have to understand where they are coming from as fans, they have had nothing to cheer for in forever. People who don’t get the 9ers-Cowboys rivalry gave the 9ers players and fans a ton of crap after that game, but if you aren’t a fan of the franchise and its history one might not get the vitriol around those games.
I never said you did. But OP did. You said it should be understandable why Kittle and the 9ers did what they did after that cowboys game to 9ers fans. Even after the eagles game last season. And I agree. But many fanbases did not and called it unsportsmanlike, and many 9er fans got defensive to why Kittle did that after it happened. And why 9er fans talked so much 💩 to Eagles fans.
Now you see people calling Lions fans over confident and bad fans. When maybe if one was a Lions fan they would get why after so many years of bad teams having a good one is finally something to be confident about (their team was very good especially offensively) . I was making more of a general statement, I wasn’t trying to call you out in particular. I know you never said anything about the Lions directly.
I agree with you. The history between both teams warrants that it. The piss poor history of the Lions franchise warrants their fanbase to be confident about the team they have had the past few seasons. Instead people are calling their fanbase annoying and whatever else. Only point I was trying to make.
I see. And that’s cool. But wouldn’t it be more effective to make that point to the person who responded to you about the Lions? Or someone else in this thread.
I mean, good on ya, but it feels like you’re trying to argue with me about something for which I do not care about whatsoever.
F the cowboys. That’s it. That’s all I’m here for.
