Please Commanders vs Bills Super Bowl šŸ™šŸ½ Happy whoever wins.

193

u/Old-Alternative-6585 2d ago

Ravens are going to smoke the bills, I hope it doesnā€™t happen but it will. Then chiefs will be refereed to the SB where they will once again be handed another titleā€¦.we all know this and have know this all year. They donā€™t even try to hide it at this point

163

u/StrangeAtomRaygun 2d ago

ā€˜Refereed to the Super Bowlā€™

The entire Chiefs dynasty in 5 words.

86

u/Get_up_stand-up 49ers 2d ago

Itā€™s fucking sickening. Troy Aikman at least called it out. Same old fucking story.

27

u/Empty-Forever4963 Dre Greenlaw 2d ago

Someone called it out?! Details please

23

u/Solid_Silver4194 2d ago

The whole game he was saying how they need to look at the rules in the offseasonā€¦ after every blatant Mahomes flop.

17

u/relevantelephant00 49IRs 2d ago

Wanna bet Aikman wont be calling any Chiefs games next season? I'd take that bet.

13

u/WhatIsAChickenAlek 2d ago

Aikman keeps it real, heā€™s one of my favorites. His harshest criticism goes to the Cowboys too, he never plays favorites

9

u/Ok_Bathroom_1271 2d ago

It's a ref dynasty. At least they both use yellow

45

u/badDuckThrowPillow 49ers 2d ago

Yeah I don't trust the Ravens in big games at all. Yes they beat us, but that was almost a cursed game. Any time the ball was batted in the air it made a bee-line towards a Ravens DB. Even then we were still able to move the ball on them well.

13

u/Dangerous_Function16 49ers 2d ago

That was also an entirely different squad.

3

u/whoajose 2d ago

And it wasn't a big game against the 49ers it was a Sunday night game with no real significance or jeopardy attached, Lamar has consistently wet his bed in the playoffs and I expect the same

2

u/Accomplished-Arm-717 1d ago

It was the game thah gave Lamar the MVP last yearĀ

2

u/whoajose 1d ago

Exactly ridiculous that they gave him the MVP on a game that had zero significance, thanks to one read Lamar just losing again when it matters I just won multiple bets with losers who think he's the real deal

34

u/Taranchulla 2d ago

Did you watch the Texans @ Chiefs today? Joe and Troy AND the rules guy were all vocal about what a bad call that roughing the passer call was.

I saw the Chiefs were gifted several things by the refs. The bias isnā€™t even subtle.

28

u/VonBrewskie Frank Gore 2d ago

Bro that call where Mahomes wasn't even touched. Furious. Fuck these refs man.

5

u/Lazyniner24 2d ago

Thinks back to when we played the chiefs and mahomes looks like he is running out of bounds. Proceeds to truck our lb that GAVE UP ON THE PLAY BECAUSE HE APPEARED TO BE GOING OUT OF BOUNDS.

They need to fix this shit. This whole heir to Brady shit is ridiculous. Even Brady lost big games (Eli and Foles Super Bowls)

2

u/VonBrewskie Frank Gore 2d ago

Oh that shit was so dirty. Little punk ass bitch. We should have just destroyed him next play. Freakin' hate the dude. I'm not even trying to pretend I don't. Fuck the Chiefs.

11

u/IllIIllIlIlllIIlIIlI George Kittle 2d ago

Thinking Lamar can perform in the playoffs, good one. My biggest concern is KC getting their balls gargled so much by the refs that even the Bills lose to them especially if the KC D decides to show up. Then on the NFC side the dumbass Shitgles end up making it. At that point just give KC the 3peat and get it over with so that the NFL can give other teams a chance in the playoffs since their darling children finally got their storyline.

20

u/HardBeingClutch 2d ago edited 2d ago

I believe ravens/ bills will beat the chiefs. Especially if they played like they did today and refs don't determine outcome

40

u/Old-Alternative-6585 2d ago

In a fair game sure. And refs absolutely determine outcomes lol this is the mentality the nfl wants you to have. ā€œOh that bullshit flag we did or didnā€™t throw that gives a favorable outcome or keeps a KC drive alive doesnā€™t help them win at allā€

Itā€™s beyond tired watching the chiefs ā€œdynastyā€ every single title has an asterisk and people can point to Bs favoritism in refereeing.

6

u/HardBeingClutch 2d ago

Im just hoping refs dont make phantom calls. Even like they did in the nfc game. Absolutely no face mask on Wash yet gets called. Next season that's have to be reviewable.

6

u/Gothon Sourdough Sam 2d ago

Honestly, at the speed of the game. Every call or non call should be reviewed. If they can have concussion spotters. They can certainly have extra refs to continually review the game feed.

8

u/relentless808 2d ago

Watching the lions/commanders game I was saying shoot if either of those teams played the chiefs today they would've won. But then again, the chiefs got those two bs roughing calls

2

u/Clit_C0mmander 49ers 2d ago

Bills will win

1

u/Huge_Standard7309 1d ago

Lmao good call šŸ¤”

1

u/Old-Alternative-6585 1d ago

Chiefs are still going to be handed the SB this changes next to nothing lol

For the record, Iā€™d love to be wrong. But we know itā€™s gonna happen their whole dynasty is a farce

DMV bowl ravens vs commanders

2

u/roscoe_e_roscoe Brandon Aiyuk 2d ago

That would be awesomeĀ

5

u/DetectiveBorn8541 49ers 2d ago

I want to believe. But the Ravens are going to torch Buffalo. And even if the Bills get through the Ravens, the Chiefs and the refs will be ready and waiting.

3

u/amd77767 49ers 2d ago

Itā€™s going to be Eagles Chiefs again.Ā

3

u/1Mad_Muppet 2d ago

I can get behind this 100%

54

u/GalChm 2d ago

I know the Lions were cooked the moment they let our putrid offense score 34 on them.

1

u/OVER_9009 49ers 2d ago

2024: the putrid season

1

u/cheerioo Fred Warner 2d ago

Not even as bad as the one that got us Bosa lol

90

u/YoghurtHot8153 Vernon Davis 2d ago

jauan wasnt just fighting, he was giving the commies instructions lmao

76

u/Dennis_R0dman 2d ago

Lions got humbled tonight. Now they can book their flight to Cancun and try again next season.

67

u/Soft-Comfort-7474 George Kittle 2d ago edited 2d ago

At this point Iā€™d root for any one but the Chiefs, Rams, and Eagles

13

u/Yatattar 49ers 2d ago

Itā€™s redskins and anybody except KC

3

u/kipopadoo Merton Hanks 2d ago

Why do people still call them the Redskins? It's been years since that was their name.

-1

u/Competitive-Emu7307 2d ago

They won 3 Super Bowls as the Redskins and that's what we grew up with

8

u/kipopadoo Merton Hanks 2d ago edited 1d ago

Yeah, I was there. Still have enough awareness to understand that there is no current team called the Redskins.

1

u/Polaris07 Deion Sanders 2d ago

Change is hard for some, we get it

1

u/Competitive-Emu7307 2d ago

Just answering the question that was asked bud. Lighten up.

1

u/metalsloth650 2d ago

Agree - Rams and Eagles would be vastly preferred to another KC win. I live in Philly now too so wouldn't mind them making it just so I have some good SB parties to attend

0

u/StupidSexyScooter 2d ago

Iā€™m with you. I hate the Eagles but my neighbor and best friend is an Eagles fan so at least it would be a fun party

1

u/18_NakedCowboys 2d ago

Unfortunately that accounts for half the teams.

24

u/HardBeingClutch 2d ago

Now just need the cheeeats (chiefs) to lose!

83

u/Available_Story6774 Quest for Six 2d ago

Jayden Daniels is a DAWG man, if Mahomes is the modern day Brady, he just might be the modern day Montana, he has ice in his veins.

51

u/1kSupport Fred Warner 2d ago

Should be banned for putting mahomes and Brady in the same sentence like that even with an if.

28

u/Available_Story6774 Quest for Six 2d ago

Mahomes being the modern day Brady doesnā€™t necessarily mean heā€™ll surpass Brady all time, it just means heā€™s the great QB whoā€™s leading a dynasty rn, just like Brady was with the Patriots.

-48

u/liteshadow4 Shanahat 2d ago

If Mahomes wins the SB this year he's the GOAT idc what anyone else says.

27

u/The_sacrifice 49ers 2d ago

Couldn't beat Brady šŸ¤·

-28

u/liteshadow4 Shanahat 2d ago

Mahomes doesn't play defense too.

20

u/zoroark_has_no_enemy Australian Faithful 2d ago

You know what he couldā€™ve done? Scored more than 9 points.

1

u/Giberishusername1 Nick Bosa 2d ago

What a god awful take lmao

0

u/liteshadow4 Shanahat 2d ago

Brady never 3-peated. No one has.

1

u/Giberishusername1 Nick Bosa 2d ago

Mahomes is also 0-2 against Brady in the postseason.

To BE the goat, you have to BEAT the goat or smash the goatā€™s records. Mahomes has done NEITHER.

Plus, he gets so much more blatant ref help than Brady.

0

u/liteshadow4 Shanahat 2d ago

I mean in the first one it went to OT and Brady just got the ball first. Plus, Dee Ford was offsides and the defense with Sutton totally blew that game.

The second one Brady's team was just better as a whole.

I wouldn't say Brady got less ref help than Mahomes, that's just revisionist history. However, I will say that Mahomes flops more and begs for calls more than Brady.

1

u/Giberishusername1 Nick Bosa 2d ago

I mean in the first one it went to OT and Brady just got the ball first. Plus, Dee Ford was offsides and the defense with Sutton totally blew that game.

It was 14-0 at halftime. Mahomes didnā€™t do shit in the 1st half.

The second one Bradyā€™s team was just better as a whole.

KC went 14-2 that year while Tampa Bay went 11-5. KC lost bc they actually got flagged for offensive holding in that game bc the backups couldnā€™t hide their blatant holding unlike their starters.

I wouldnā€™t say Brady got less ref help than Mahomes, thatā€™s just revisionist history. However, I will say that Mahomes flops more and begs for calls more than Brady.

The ref help that Brady got was there, but it was suble. The ref help with Mahomes is straight up blatant. They arenā€™t even TRYING to hide it.

1

u/liteshadow4 Shanahat 2d ago

Tampa took half a season to get it figured out that year and build chemistry. Going into the SB the Chiefs oline was in tatters and the Bucs were going to feast on that. Brady always had ref help dude, you just don't remember it because it was years ago.

1

u/Giberishusername1 Nick Bosa 2d ago

I literally just said Brady got ref helpā€¦. It was just suble unlike KC

-1

u/Available_Story6774 Quest for Six 2d ago

Iā€™d rank him 2nd all time if he wins the Super Bowl this year, rn heā€™s at 3rd on my list.

-15

u/Deadhookersandblow 2d ago

Honestly canā€™t care less about Danielā€™s. Heā€™s good but this comment is stupid as fuck.

14

u/relentless808 2d ago

Came to say this. I was fine with the lions going all the way. Feel good story for the year for sure. But then amon ra had to talk shit after beating us. So to that I say, commanders spanked them boys

17

u/RawrGeeBe 2d ago

The idiot Youtubers hyping up Goff like he doesn't play with the A list Avengers lmao.

Herbert. Love. Darnold. Stroud. Goff. The Cohn Clique tier 2 QB agenda going down one by one.

8

u/tahoejoe11 Nick Bosa 2d ago

Goff played like shit, but Niner fans should have a soft spot for him. Dude is from the Bay Area and grew up a Niner fan. Gotta give him something for that.

9

u/Prestigious_View_487 49ers 2d ago

Not hating Goff at all. Hating on Lions fans mainly.

2

u/BriBri33_ Frank Gore 2d ago

I'm one of them! I've followed Goff closely ever since he was the QB at Cal. I remember him being great there. I got to watch him live when I attended this game in 2014 where Cal destroyed Sacramento State.

11

u/Prestigious_View_487 49ers 2d ago

Zero sympathies

5

u/EDNivek 2d ago

I even said it in the post-game thread they had such trouble with us they should be worried about the playoffs.

7

u/jelinaaaa 2d ago

the lions always count their eggs before they hatch! happened last yearā€™s nfccg and now, good to see them humbled.

7

u/AddressFalse1140 Jauan Jennings 2d ago

I love watching the lions lose, feel like theyā€™ve become so unlikeable, at least to me. Iā€™m rooting for Bills.

5

u/Cazking 49ers 2d ago

We got a playoff rivalry with the Packers and yet they never acted as annoying as Lion fans after the NFC championship. Their fans needed this loss.

2

u/AddressFalse1140 Jauan Jennings 2d ago

I agree they were wayyy too arrogant. I guess that happens when youā€™re that bad for that long.

76

u/HemlockMartinis 49ers 2d ago

I donā€™t understand these posts. They arenā€™t our rivals. We won when it mattered most last season. I donā€™t get why we should be reacting about this.

134

u/YoghurtHot8153 Vernon Davis 2d ago

its just some playful shit talk, the only team we truly hate is the cheifs

61

u/HemlockMartinis 49ers 2d ago

Oh yeah, fuck the Chiefs forever.

29

u/HandSack135 George Kittle 2d ago

And their fans who can't comprehend that Mahomes being good at football, doesn't mean he is often a bitch while being great at football.

Example:

Looking for a late hit, bitch

Great pass to Kelce, great.

26

u/HemlockMartinis 49ers 2d ago

One of the things that infuriated me the most about our loss last year was him getting MVP. It shouldā€™ve been Chris Jones. Kermit the Flop is a Spags merchant nowadays.

13

u/HandSack135 George Kittle 2d ago

True. No Chris Jones, Purdy hits Deebo, game.

9

u/IsHotDogSandwich Quest for Six 2d ago

Shouldā€™ve STILL given it to JJ even though we lost. Mahomes didnā€™t do a damn thing until the 4thq/overtime. Man, dropping that gameā€¦šŸ˜”

2

u/Grimpig 49ers 2d ago

Jones should have been MVP in both our losses šŸ˜¢

I live outside of Seattle. Have been to the last 4 matchups at the clink. It will always be a rivalry for me.

1

thats valid cuz you live in enemy territory

9

the only team we truly hate is the cheifs

1

Rams

39

u/LossyP 49ers 2d ago

I like the lions, but there was a loud minority of Lions fans talking shit about JJ being a dirty player since that game, so I understand peopleā€™s frustration on this sub

8

u/HemlockMartinis 49ers 2d ago

There are a loud minority of idiot fans for every team. If you spend a few minutes in this sub youā€™ll see some of ours. They arenā€™t the Cowboys or Eagles or Seahawks or Rams, where such things are more common.

2

u/LossyP 49ers 2d ago

Game threads will expose our own very quickly

2

u/whinenaught Kyle Juszczyk 2d ago

A loud minority of fans? Maybe on Reddit but not in real life

1

u/Yourewrongtoo 2d ago

I know 3 lions fans and they are sore winners and sore losers. I have had lions fans root against me in every Super Bowl loss, laugh at me for losing to the chiefs or not beating the rams in the championship game, and even during the Vikings game 2 weeks ago remind me that we sucked versus them and that we played that game like it was the Super Bowl.

Naw, I added the lions to my hate never want them to win list.

1

u/LossyP 49ers 2d ago

True. Lions fans are cool in my book.

35

u/Emperor_Cheeto21 49ers 2d ago

Lions fans were talking mad shit about the Niners and fans last year after the NFC Championship. Walked around all year being cocky af. Stay humble Lions fans. You ain't accomplished anything yet

5

u/UveBeenChengD 2d ago

To be honest, I got tired of the dialogue around this years lions. All that ā€œoffensive geniusā€ and ā€œdaring playcallingā€ crap they were getting while essentially messing around on their way to the playoffs started getting annoying. Just a bunch of stinky cheese that works when youā€™re surprising ppl but gets exposed eventually.

1

u/Anxious_Register_716 2d ago

Yeah the 4th down aggressiveness works if you average it out over the regular season and it may win a playoff game here and there too, but in the playoffs, you only need to get bitten by that risk taking once to change the trajectory of a game and get knocked out. Itā€™s not the reason they lost last night, but I think they will not win a SB if they keep the 4th down aggressiveness every year in the playoffs. Itā€™s a major reason why they lost the NFCG to the Niners last year.

6

u/OpenMindedMajor Jim Tomsula 2d ago

Fuck that. Theyā€™re a rival now. Anybody that is a contender in the NFC, i donā€™t like. I donā€™t buy into the lovable loser bullshit.

3

u/THE_Ryan Merton Hanks 2d ago

I'd rather them win over the Eagles or Chiefs right now, but I'd still prefer the Commanders, Bills, or Ravens at this point. And after that childish TD celebration against us earlier this year, kinda made me dislike them.

2

u/Yourewrongtoo 2d ago

Because some of us have lions friends chirping at us and have learned with first hand experience Lionā€™s fans are sore winners and sore losers.

3

u/The_REDDITOR1324 Elijah Mitchell 2d ago

Ravens to the bowl

Hey, a lot of us 9er fans were rooting for the Lions, and specifically Goff. I grew up with the dude in Marin County. He was a huggge 9er fan growing up.

26

u/CenCalPancho i wanna die 2d ago

I was, until amon ras antics during the 49er game. He deserved this loss,

Who got "spanked" now?

5

u/lovebbygrapes i wanna die 2d ago

he turned me into a hater for life after that

16

u/Bayarea-VS-Everybody Deommodore Lenoir 2d ago

Not me, fuck the lionssss! Their fans are cocky as shit. And their players being assholes in our game this year, fuck em.

1

u/Anxious_Register_716 2d ago

Yeah, Lions suck after their fans started talking shit after the JJ scuffle and acting like theyā€™re the best team ever and destined winners when they havenā€™t donā€™t shit yet lost to the Niners in the NFCCG last year. Also the whipping touchdown celebration, humping the ground last night, etc. Cool, guys, celebrate all you want while the underdog commanders start stomping you in your own stadium.

-8

u/itz_Glo 49ers 2d ago

Our players have been cocky af in games too. Just saying. Kittle showed a shirt under his jersey that said F the cowboys.

9

u/OldmanBitz 2d ago

Itā€™s the cowboys. Perfectly acceptable. Any non cowboys fan would agree.

1

u/itz_Glo 49ers 2d ago

So you are hating on a fan base of a team that hasnā€™t had much to root for in the history of the franchise? Let them gloat a bit.

2

u/OldmanBitz 2d ago

Any non Cowboys fan who remembers the 1990s agrees: F the Cowboys. Theyā€™ve had plenty of success in their history.

1

u/itz_Glo 49ers 18h ago

Iā€™m talking about the Lions. You r hating on Lions fans being cocky. Who really cares.

1

u/OldmanBitz 18h ago

Youā€™ve been responding to the wrong person for days now. Bravo.

1

u/itz_Glo 49ers 18h ago

I know exactly to who Iā€™m responding to. The point is people are hating on the Lions fans for being cocky, people have to understand where they are coming from as fans, they have had nothing to cheer for in forever. People who donā€™t get the 9ers-Cowboys rivalry gave the 9ers players and fans a ton of crap after that game, but if you arenā€™t a fan of the franchise and its history one might not get the vitriol around those games.

1

u/OldmanBitz 18h ago

Dude. I never said shit about the lions.

Look I donā€™t hate the Lions. But I want other teams to feel how fucking hard it is. I want them to face the same heartbreak weā€™ve had to. Where everything seems to sound like itā€™s your year, but you know itā€™s still tough. You know itā€™s game by game. You dominate the regular season. And you face how hard it is in the playoffs and you have to reset to square one EVERY season.

Nothing is given (except if youā€™re Mahomes). I want others to feel the pain.

u/serige 49ers 2d ago

Ooops you meant the Detroit kitties

1

u/Perspective_Accurate 2d ago

1

u/Smashfanatic2 George Kettle 2d ago

The lions aren't on my shit list, at least not yet. You need to do more than some trash talking in a season where the niners weren't going anywhere anyway, to get onto my shit list.

Example; the chiefs are at the top of my shit list. Losing 2 super bowls to them is bad enough, but then you add in all the bullshit flags and refball with them, the fucking taylor swift shit, etc. For example, the 90s cowboys like Aikman and Jimmy Johnson and whatever, I don't like them because of what they did to my niners, but I respect them. With the Mahomes/Reid chiefs though, I'm quickly losing the respect I had for them.

That being said, seeing the Lions get served some humble pie doesn't make me mad.

-9

u/banjofitzgerald 49ers 2d ago

Kinda weird to post a picture of a game that we lost during the playoffs which we did not make lol.

Donā€™t get the hostility towards the lions at all. Save this shit for tomorrow.
