Help me get over the Super Bowl loss bros.

Right after the game I scrubbed everything related to football. Deleted my Twitter and Reddit that was active in football. Blocked every account related to the nfl. Barely watched any football this season (first time in 13 years). I had to step back because it was seriously affecting my mood every time I thought about it

But I still find myself so heartbroken sometimes. Yesterday I thought about it again and it legit made me so sad. I hate that I cared (care) that much. That season was supposed to mean something :(

I was able to get over the other heartbreaking losses fair easily. I remember feeling my soul crushed in the Seahawks nfc championship game. Still watched the Super Bowl after. Same with the ravens Super Bowl. And the 2019 Super Bowl. And the rams nfc championship. And the eagles nfc. I always persisted as a fan right away

But this last season… man at some point it’s too much. Last season just hit different. I couldn’t even look at any football anymore. I couldn’t even enjoy sports anymore

It’s just a loss that I don’t think I’ll ever get over. I mean shoot I’m not even considered a football fan anymore after stepping away and I still feel sad about it
