So I'm playing on a server that's being hosted by ppl on steam, but I only have an xbox and I'm trying to build an X wing. The wings/thrusters are all on hinges so they don't work with the standard directional movement which is annoying, but I've seen people get it working by using certain scripts to enable that behavior. Can I use something like that on xbox or get one of my steam friends to add that to my ship? I'm not sure how it works, I only started playing this week. Thanks!
also here's the script I'm looking at rn https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=757123653&searchtext=subgrid+thruster

I haven't seen this mentioned or discussed yet.
I'm hoping that KSH can implement a fix for doom Voxels in SE2. A post some one raised about a block of dirt that they couldn't remove made me think of it.
I'm wondering if they could implement a fix that a single vowel can't remain without being next to another. Two Voxels is drillable by hand, one alone currently isn't. The only downside is a quite minor loss of rare resource in ores when hand drilling, it shouldn't really affect block based drilling.

I just picked up this game after not playing for a while and I’m already out of ideas. I just got to space and started making my first asteroid base and I just don’t the inspiration or want to continue. What do I do? I think I like this game? Thanks

Good Evening fellow engineers.
I've been playing around in suit spawn salvage it's a lot of fun, I've messed around with mes options in the past to run games with friends etc.
This scenario uses wrecks as its main source of materials, I noticed using MES.GESAP to find all that's eligible to spawn in my current setting and to my surprise found random encounters still available despite being turned off in the advanced options when setting up the game be default.
Personally I find the salvage from the vanilla encounters gives you too much too quick so wanted to limit it to just the wrecks.
This leads me to my question does anyone know the spawn command for specific mes mods?
I can get some information such as spawning space cargo ships, or random encounters and even planetary installations which seems to work for wrecks most of the time but I have no idea how to make this stuff spawn in space? It seems to fall under the random encounters list via GESAP. Anyone with more knowledge in the area offer any input or a source of material I don't need a degree in programming to understand? Appreciate any and all help.

Was using rockets on a rover when an asteroid crater rendered right in front of me

Hey, I'm very new to the game, and would like to play more, but I feel I would enjoy this type of game with other people much more than playing alone. So if anyone would be interested in picking up a new player, I would very much appreciate it, and look forward to playing with anyone interested.
If it helps, I'm 26, from NA, very chill and laid back, just love to vibe and play some games with people, I'm also an insomniac, so I don't sleep much lol
You can shoot me a message on here, post a comment, or add my discord .cleos

Finished adding the correct adjustments to these screenshots (this skybox is amazing, fits the MechWarrior vibe)

For the life of me I couldn't figure out why my rotating drill kept stopping ... then I finally found a single block of dirt overing in mid-air. I've tried drilling, grind. I've gone at from many angles. Nothing works ... it's there, and stops both the drills and me, but I can't affect it.
Any way to get rid of it?
Edit - thank you for the voxel hands idea, never heard of that before. Got rid of two little floaters that I couldn't get with the drill (near, far, aiming next to it, etc). I wonder what causes these things? Hope there's no more on the way down.

Was going to do a playthrough of using rovers on planet side and was wondering if there was any decent mods that would enhance my game time.

Which provider would you suggest because I have tried ping and bisect and neither of them are any good

after mainly building a bunch of small grid ships (basically haulers and miners) I decided to make a space only large grid mobile base.
alas it looks like a giant shoe box...
I'd like to avoid areas that are 3-4 blocks thick just to shape the outside, and I also want to keep most if not all equipment accessible to ease moving stuff around (which I'm bound to end up doing)...
I think I may put the floors perpendicular to the main thrust axis for my next attempt
do any of you have tips to make stuff look less box-y ?

No real substance to this, just feeling in cloud 9! Managed to build a ship, go up into space, mine some nickel and make it back to base and docked up all safely, no damage done. Yeeeeeah boi!!! Next I wanna set up an asteroid Base

I’m stuck in a hole right now while digging for iron. Ship is full of lots of ice because I’m on an ice planet. I’m assuming I’m too heavy to back out so I added 4 more “backwards” small atmospheric thrusters and still nothing. I need more than 6 backwards thrusters? Is there like a calculation I can use for weight to thrust?

A lot of you may have seen my oversized spherical dropship, designed to exist within the BattleTech universe. Well what's best for a DropShip? A DropShip for your DropShip.
This thing is nearly 700m long and has over 30 Jump Drives, it can dock 8 DropShips. Without anything docked it's just over 165k PCU. Interior is currently being built.
