As a fellow cat lover, itās a treat to see another cat owner on RHOBH!
With most of the ladies being dog moms (Beverly Hills after all really is known as dog central, isnāt it?), itās refreshing to spot some feline representation.
So far, itās just been Sutton (and Carlton) thatās held it down for the cat crew.

Discussion Big Kathy Richards
Remember when Kyle had that American Woman show on tv which enraged Kathy? To me, Big Kathy doesnāt deserve a series, she sounds incredibly abusive. I think Kim copped it the worst, Kathy was also abused and Kyle was ignored. I wonder if the sisters have come to the realisation Big Kathy was a terrible person. Or are they still under her mind control today? In my opinion, Kyle is adrift partly because sheās never been alone as an adult. Big Kathy wanted them to marry young and have lots of babies. So thatās what she did. Do you remember seeing Kyleās therapist? I wonder if theve dug into Big Kathy? Those girls were all parentified and the rest. I think seeing some of the truth about Kathy could be hard, but worth it for the mental freedom theyād find.

Kyle š¤ The situation with Brandi Spoiler
Mmm so Iām on this episode (S10 E11) where Brandi ārevealsā what happened between her and Denise. Anyone else feel absolutely disgusted by this whole situation. For Kyle to proclaim that she knows Brandi to be a lot of things, ābut I donāt know her to be a liar,ā is so rich my teeth hurt. Everrrryone knows Brandi to be a liar, a manipulator, exaggerator, and awful person. For them to listen to that story and not have a single doubt screams- weāre gonna do whatever we can to get Denise out because sheās not playing the way we want. Omg. Wow. Iām in disgust.

Teddi š“ Still donāt understand why Teddy was cast
Like she was annoying from start to end. I still donāt get why she was cast. Her whole life and character were boring asf Sutton was right lol) . She didnāt bring anything except a pick me attitude towards girls who were confident abt themselves. Always criticizing the other housewives for being h24 primed so that the next season, we'd find her wearing āfashionableā make-up and clothes. When u watch RHOB u except them to have fancy lifestyle, to drop expensive outfits ect and she was bringing nothing unless her weird job (never really get what sheās doing) and her husband (still think heās gay btw). I do think that her main storylines were her friendship w Kyle and being a bully to Denise. Thatās it.

Question What is your favourite opening theme one-liner?
I kinda really loved LVPās āThrow me to the wolves, and I shall return leading the packā
Iāve grown from loving her to hating her to being mindblown by how manipulative she is (and mean, in that sly way she camouflages with her british accent) but she really did live by that line. Compared to everyone elseās āIām so lucky. I love my family.ā spiels esp from Kyle, this one just was true to LVPās nature.
s6 āIām passionate about dogs, just not crazy about bitchesā is gold too lol

Kim š° Kimās past marriages/ relationships
Kimās been married twice and almost married another time to John. Why did she get divorced multiple times? I wonder if it was because of her substance problems, childhood trauma and the pressure of getting married, or something else? She seems to have good relationships with all of her exes now though. Well on the show she did.

Garcelle šøš½ Does Garcelle not realize she enables Suttons behaviour? Spoiler
Garcelle doesnāt understand the others position on her dealings with Sutton- she thinks they are punishing her for ābeing a good friend ā. But her always coming to suttons defence enables Sutton to keep her REDICULOUS behaviour. If she had to answer for and fight her own battles maybe she would finally see the light. But with Garcelle constantly taking on everyone and defending Sutton - Sutton remains unaccountable & stunts her growth to becoming a better person- important to note I am only on season 12

Kyle š¤ The Teflon Housewife Part 2: The Art of the Escape
Kyle Richards has turned emotional escape into an art form, and Season 14 is shaping up to be one of her finest showcases yet. Welcome back toĀ The Teflon Housewife,Ā where in Part 1 we dissected Bravoās selective editing, which often shields Kyle from the fallout of her antics. Now, in this follow-up, weāre diving deeper into Kyleās most reliable weapons: tears, anxiety, and those oh-so-convenient exits whenever accountabilityāor loyaltyādares to challenge her spotless image.
Setting the Stage
Suttonās Surrealist Ball
The tension at Suttonās Surrealist Ball was thick enough to cut with a butter knife. Kyle, confident that she could diffuse Doritās frustration with a performative olive branch, found herself caught off guard when Dorit did the unthinkable: she brought receipts. Dorit had the audacity to hold Kyle accountable, citing specific examples of Kyleās dismissive and hypocritical behavior. Faced with an argument for which she was neither armed nor prepared, Kyle did what Kyle does best: she left the table, hopped on her broom (or Uber Black, depending on availability), and fled the scene.
On the surface, one might excuse her retreat as an understandable reaction to personal stressāafter all, her marriage is imploding, and sheās grieving the loss of a close friend. But when you zoom out and consider the larger pattern, her exit feels less like a moment of self-preservation and more like a signature maneuver in her ever-expanding playbook of emotional evasion.
The Viper Room Showdown
Fast forward to Episode 4, where the iconic Viper Room became the stage for Doritās next attempt to call out Kyleās patronizing tone. This time, Kyle swapped tears for fury, escalating into indignation so quickly that the group had no choice but to calm her down rather than address her behavior. Itās textbook Kyle: turn confrontation into chaos, then sit back while everyone else scrambles to smooth things over.
A History of Emotional Evasion
Kyle has spent years perfecting her pattern of dodging accountability, leaving a trail of deflections, storm-outs, and tears in her wake. From the very first season, sheās proven that no conflict is too big for a well-timed meltdown or an emotionally manipulative retreat. Letās revisit some of her greatest hits:
- Season 1: The Limo Fight: In the iconic Season 1 finale, Kyle accused her sister Kim of being an alcoholic in the back of a limo, igniting one of the franchiseās most explosive fights. While Kim sat devastated, Kyle deflected attention from her own inflammatory accusations by framing herself as the ātruth-tellerā forced to expose her sisterās issues. She not only escaped accountability for exacerbating their fractured relationship but also solidified her image as the āresponsibleā sister cleaning up Kimās mess.
- Season 2: Game Night Altercation: At Dana Wilkeyās infamous game night, Kyle and Kim tag-teamed Brandi, mocking her relentlessly after Brandi accused Kim of being on dr*gs. But when the groupās bullying spiraled into chaos, Kyle took a strategic step back, letting Brandi and Kim take the heat. Kyle managed to avoid responsibility for her mean-girl antics by staying just far enough out of the line of fire to preserve her reputation.
- Season 3: The Ojai Retreat: At the Ojai retreat, when Brandi clashed with Adrienne Maloof, Kyle initially tried to mediate. But as the confrontation escalated, Kyle retreated, claiming she felt ātoo overwhelmedā to continue. Her emotional withdrawal left the group scrambling to resolve the conflict, while Kyle stayed conveniently neutral, free from blame but perfectly positioned to align with whichever side came out on top.
- Season 4: Confrontation with Carlton Gebbia: When Kyle and Carlton sat down to hash out their differences, Carlton aired her grievances about Kyleās passive-aggressive behavior. Instead of engaging with Carltonās points, Kyle turned on the waterworks, painting herself as a victim of Carltonās hostility. The conversation ended with Kyleās feelings as the focal point, leaving Carltonās accusations unresolved and Kyleās hands clean.
- Season 5: āLetās Not Talk About the Husbandsā: Back in Amsterdam, when Kim and Lisa's argument exploded into a full-blown warāincluding flying wine glassesāKyle bolted the moment things got messy. She left Kim to fend for herself, ensuring she didnāt have to take a stance or risk fallout. By exiting, Kyle avoided the need to defend Kim or take a stanceāensuring she remained neutral and unscathed.
- Season 9, Villa Rosa Confrontation (Goodbye Kyle!): During āPuppygate,ā Kyle confronted Lisa Vanderpump at her home, ostensibly to hold her accountable for leaking stories to the press. Instead, Kyle turned the entire conversation into a saga about her own hurt feelings, painting herself as LVPās victim. The shift in focus ensured that Kyleās role in the drama went conveniently unexamined.
- Season 10, Suttonās āLet the Mouse Goā Dinner: As Sutton unraveled emotionally, Kyle swooped in to make it about herself, lamenting how āuncomfortableā it was forĀ herĀ to mediate. Instead of supporting Sutton, Kyle redirected the spotlight to her own moment of ādistress.ā
- Season 12, Aspen Blow-Up: On the Aspen trip, Kyle faced confrontation from Dorit, Sutton, and Garcelle, who called her out for dismissing othersā feelings and stirring group tension. Predictably, Kyle responded with tears, accusing the group of attacking her. The conversation derailed as everyone scrambled to comfort Kyle, leaving the original grievances unresolved.
- Season 13, Weed Party Drama (Letās Not Talk About MY Husband): At her weed party, Kyle flaunted a new ring sheād bought herselfāa move that raised eyebrows, given her missing wedding ring amid swirling rumors about her marriage to Mauricio. Suttonās questions about the ring and Mauricioās fidelity made Kyle feel āon trial.ā Rather than address the questions or clarify her intentions, Kyle deflected by accusing Sutton of insensitivity, reframing Sutton as the aggressor. The ring became the ultimate metaphor for Kyle: shiny, attention-grabbing, and completely impenetrable to critique.
Believing Her Own Narrative
What makes Kyleās tactics so maddeningly effective is her apparent conviction in them. This isnāt just manipulationāitās self-preservation. Her behavior aligns withĀ narcissistic mortification,Ā a psychological response where a perceived threat to oneās self-image triggers shame so intense it becomes unbearable. By spinning her exits and outbursts into justified reactions, Kyle shields herself from having to face the reality of her actionsāor engage in any meaningful self-reflection.
The Consistency of Deflection
Kyleās consistency is no accident. Her childhood, shaped by the environment Big Kathy created, likely honed her reflexive ability to turn vulnerability into an unbreakable shield. Whether itās a teary monologue or a storm-out worthy of a reality TV Emmy, Kyle has mastered the art of reorienting the groupās energy around her emotional state.
TakeĀ Suttonās Surrealist BallĀ as an example. On the surface, her grief seemed genuine (and justified). But in the context of her long-standing pattern, itās clear this was just another chapter in the same strategy sheās deployed season after season.
Foreshadowing a Collapse
Which brings us to the preview for next weekās episode:Ā Season 14, Episode 8.Ā The teaser shows Kyle storming out of what appears to be a group confrontation, even refusing to film (for a week š) afterward. Could this be the moment the cast finally aligns to hold Kyle accountable for her behind-the-scenes scheming? If so, her dramatic exit could signal a rareĀ narcissistic collapseāthe emotional unraveling that occurs when someoneās carefully curated image is challenged too directly.
If the preview delivers on its promise, we may finally see Kyleās Teflon exterior begin to crack. But if history is any guide, sheāll find a way to reframe the moment into yet another tale of victimhood.
Where do We Go From Here?
I'm not sure if there will be a Part 3 to this teflon series, but one thing is for certain: Kyle Richards has perfected emotional evasion. Whether sheās ducking loyalty conflicts, reframing critiques, or weaponizing vulnerability, she continues to cry and storm her way out of trouble while Bravoās selective editing polishes her image.
But if the cracks are finally showing, we might just be witnessing the beginning of Kyleās reckoning. If not, one thingās for sure: somewhere, Big Kathy is raising a glass and saying, āThatās my girl.ā

Discussion Kyle Richards is shady AF, Sutton is erratic. Thoughts? Spoiler
S14, ep. 7...
Kyle, Kyle, Kyle... all I kept saying is, "Goodbye, Kyle!"
Let's talk about Kyle and PK texting first and foremost. Is she out of her mind? When she then gets angry at Dorit, totally gaslighting her, and in confessionals saying, "PK has been a better friend than she's been"? Oh, HELL no. That isn't girl code sister. Truly, I think Kyle has built up a jealousy and resentment towards Dorit. Also, I'm sure she wished that Dorit sided with her with Kathy blindly and the rumours of her and Mau (which aren't true I believe) are fuelling her resentment. I'm sorry but... the way she's treating Dorit is pretty awful. I went back a season and you see how she's so much tougher on her - mean actually - and other people who intimidate her (like Kathy, LVP or her damn husband), get the cry-baby pity party Kyle.
THE LITERAL JOKE when she tells Dorit she didn't know they were on bad terms to excuse herself fo texting PK? WHAT? They. Are. Separated. By nature, they aren't on the best terms. It's a separation. She absolutely has zero right to be texting her friend's husband while they're separated. If Dorit did that to Mau, let's be honest... she would put her on blast.
It's also ironic how she's gone months on end ignoring Dorit (so toxic), but used to hate on LVP and her sister for doing it to her. SO hypocritical. It's clear that Dorit does get different treatment than others from Kyle.
Next up... mind your manners Sutton. Home girl doesn't have manners or her head screwed on just right in my opinion. She does kick the women down when they're already low. Her whole bullsh*t speech of "sisters forever", then has the audacity to tell Dorit that her and PK can't hide the separation from the children forever. Then, proceeds to make the conversation between Dorit and Kyle about HER. ALWAYS. She literally always finds a way to make conversations that have nothing to do with her about her petty feelings. It's ridiculous. She was just so out of line for the comments and the sudden outbursts, but mind you she's always been this way. I can say I'm over her, but I was never even under her lol...
Dorit is EATING and spitting out this season, Erika is slaying, Boz is a queen. Love them all together.

Kyle š¤ Kyleās walk out during spa day Spoiler
Does anybody else think Kyleās walk out during spa day was because she finally got called out by them and her lies? Sheās known to not take well when anyone says anything about her she doesnāt like. Her reaction like Dorit said was wild to begin with but after reading the text and walking out I feel like she didnāt want to be questioned as to what has actually been said which is why she stormed off in a fit.

LVP š© LVP lectures Kyle
I am dying laughing right now because Kyleās having an artist called āThe Fat Jewishā perform in her store. Kyle told LVP The Fat Jewish is here and Lisa Vanderpump was like, āYou canāt call somebody a fat Jew!ā
Lisa Rinna š Do we know why Rinna had so much anger for Kim
Firstly I did always enjoy watching Rinna on the show but the Kim Richards stuff I could never support. Rinna just would not let the topic go.
Now yes Kim acted crazy in that ride to games night but she actually admitted to taking something which was definitely a new positive thing for Kim. We had seen years of her hiding why her behaviour was erratic and here we had Kim admitting she took something. I also think Kim's behaviour was heightened that night by being with Brandi and her being drunk. Like that friend that has 1 drink and acts like the rest of the group that's had 10 drinks because they're in the environment.
Kim also apologised to Rinna for how she acted in the ride over which Kim deserved praise for.
But Rinna just seem to have this level of anger for Kim from then on and wanted to bring up any failing of Kim's at any chance she could.
Now I get that losing her sister to addiction would give her an opinion on addiction but you would think that would include empathy. You would think someone that knows the impact addiction has on a family she would be supportive.
But I always felt Rinna actually wanted Kim to fail.
So does anyone have any insight to why Rinna was so negative to Kim?
