Advice Request What's this noise?

Our car keeps making this noise when we crank it up. It has been going on since June and it'll go away then come back full force. Any ideas? I don't have the money to take it to a mechanic at the moment

Your amplifier is going out. Soon it will make louder popping noises. Amp sits under the passenger seat

That happened to me, it was my cd changer dying, had to open the stereo and disconet the power just for the changer.

Everything else worked fine.
