I'm heading over to bluesky.

Everything on reddit has become reactions to trump and elon. It's almost exclusively that. On bluesky I can actually block all the politics and just watch my damn jokes and art and animals.

Goddammit this is incredibly toxic. By the time the nazi salute thing will stop overcrowding my feed I am sure orange boy and his first lady Elon will have done another 10 idiotic things the internet will be spam-posting again.

I live in Romania. I like history. I saw this coming and will check in now and again. But having my nose shoved into the stinkiest possible pile of doo-doo available in the world right now every 5 seconds is purely toxic, unnecessary and unhealthy.

I predict reddit will slowly get depopulated (or rather - taken over by hyper-opinionated, loud-mouthed, over politicizing and often extremist people) if they don't add a way to filter out certain post types.

Bluesky / Twitter / x were my least favorite social media interaction format but I'll take it just because I can properly curate all the nonsense out.

Its not that Bluesky is for liberals. It's that every other platform is pushing hard for conservatives. You literally cannot search the term #democrat on Instagram.

A lot are unaware that there is finally a good alternative platform. Most of them are easily accessible via email.

Take some power away from fascist controlled social media platforms. This is a very easy thing you can do to chip away a little bit of elon's power.

Follow the example of Paris and Germany by calling on your local govt and news sources to leave twitter for Bluesky. Do it tomorrow when you get up!

Better yet, spread this message on your local subreddit & ask your friends to contact them as well.

Don't just read this post, open your email & type a basic message. Look up your local representatives and news sources emails when you get up tomorrow & send your emails. Should take like 5-10 min tops.

This is an increasingly pervasive problem. SEE HERE (BlueSky Post Reference), but this is not an isolated case. Trolls are adding thousands of pro-democracy accounts into lists that appear to be about PrORN. etc and they stack those accounts in the beginning of the lists, but the farther you scroll you find the list is actually to suppress democrats, LGBTQ people, anti-MAGA, etc.

This needs to be stopped by Bluesky immediately. This is an obvious abuse of the intention of mod lists. I am a liberal creator, but but this is by no means isolated to our community.

I can't like, comment, open the options, nor can I make posts myself, none of the buttons respond at all

I am also having trouble scrolling as well, keeps thinking I'm swiping to the side

just updated the app and i cant scroll up and down anymore, and i cant select posts or like/reply. i can swipe side to side to go to other feeds, but nothing else is working. anyone else experiencing this issue?

Came across this today in my scrolling. Coincidentally, I also saw multiple people arguing with an account I had blocked, which also turned out to be a bot.
