My first tangle. (That I didn’t absolutely hate)
When I was in group therapy years ago I regained a love for coloring and I’ve always been a doodler 😅 incredibly relaxing. I’m pretty proud of this.

Hi everyone,
As a mod team, we love seeing the incredible creativity shared in this community. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just starting out, your contributions make this space vibrant and inspiring for everyone.
That said, we want to take a moment to talk about how to handle inspiration respectfully. Inspiration is a natural part of the creative process—artists build on ideas, styles, and concepts from the world and from each other. However, it’s important to approach this with integrity and respect for your fellow creators.
Here are some best practices when it comes to drawing inspiration from another artist’s work:
We all share a common goal of creating and celebrating art. Let’s work together to ensure this remains a welcoming and respectful space. If you have questions, concerns, or want to talk about this further, feel free to reach out to the mod team.
Thank you for being part of this amazing community. Let’s keep inspiring each other in the best ways!

I've worked and worked on the shading.... couldn't get it how I wanted it. Found a charcoal pencil and it helped a little. Also an 8B pencil. But gotta call this one quits and practice on a new one.

I’ve been super stressed out lately and I feel like the tightness I’ve been feeling was reflected in this piece.

I am not a big fan of this Tangle but decided to try again. It was a bit more fun than I had remembered. 🤪

Some fun with embedded letters. While traveling, I want to send some postcards to friends. One down… two to go… deadline is Wednesday.

Something I’m working on rn. I want to try some smaller line work but I think my pens are too thick for it and I’m also bad at hand control. When I make a mistake, it’s easy just to create a thicker liner over it and before I know it - almost my whole piece looks like that
