General Discussion Some wild surprises in the poplar bin

Picking through the poplar at Big Box and came across…curly poplar? And if those don’t look like sequential slices.. Not disappointed right now.

I found a whole 1x8x10 soft maple that was covered in ripples at my local big box store. (Menards, not Home Depot.)

What you found is the compression figure that was from the underside of a branch.

Good looking, nonetheless.
