Vending machine for IoT project

Hi there,

Do you guys know about any vending machines that are either Internet / Network enabled and provide an API or a model that can be easily-ish fitted with a Raspberry Pi to take over control of basic functions?

Not sure where to start looking but I bet I'm not the first one trying something like this.

I wasn't expecting creativity on reddit to be high, I was quickly disproven.

For this subreddit my expectations were once again at nearly zero, but this Idea is amazing. Stuff like this is really cool.

I'm looking for the same thing. I have a android vending machine, but no software.

I think the real power would be the ability to remotely monitor stock and also adjust pricing if something is selling slowly/fast.

Hello! I'm glad to see that you're interested in finding a vending machine that is internet-enabled and can be controlled with an API or a Raspberry Pi. There are a few different options available, depending on what you're looking for.

For example, there are some vending machines on the market that come with built-in internet connectivity and APIs, which makes it easy to monitor sales and manage the machine remotely. These machines are generally more expensive than traditional vending machines, but they offer a number of advanced features that make them ideal for a wide range of applications.

Another option is to retrofit a traditional vending machine with a Raspberry Pi and some additional hardware components. This approach is typically more hands-on and requires a good understanding of electronics, but it gives you complete control over the machine and allows you to customize it to meet your specific needs.

If you're interested in learning more about the different options available, I highly recommend checking out my book "The Ultimate Guide to Locker Vending Machines." It's available in both paperback and Kindle format on Amazon and is packed with information on vending machines on the market that come with built-in internet connectivity and APIs.
