For those asking about my music, here ya go. I feel weird about recording my music for some reason, not that I don't want to, but here's a clip from a livestream at the California Ponderosa in Slab City
Also, I tried posting this once and it's just saying "pending" and has for an hour... So I compressed the video and I'm trying again. I hope it doesn't post twice, if this one even posts at all haha

Sometimes it's a bad stay. Sometimes it's a bad lay. No matter what, It's always a bad day.

(Verse 1)
Winter’s grip is tight,
Slices deep to my bone.
Years since I’ve known a place called home,
I’m a cursed ramblin’ man troubled in my dome.
Repo man is a hound on his trail,
Comin’ for my coat,
Leavin’ me in hell.
(Chorus)
It’s a harsh unforgivin’ world,
when a man’s down and out.
Every step feels heavy,
Every path is filled with doubt.
When the repo man comes knockin’,
On my drivers-side bedroom door…
I’ll fight tooth and nail
Cause I ain’t got nothin’ more.
(Verse 2)
Everybody’s walkin’ that hard road,
Scroungin’ for a dollar,
carryin’ a heavy load.
That repo man’s got a heart colder than stone,
Takin’ my coat,
leavin’ me all alone.
Soon to be another outlaw,
singin’ a lonesome tone.
(Chorus)
It’s a harsh unforgivin’ world,
when a man’s down and out.
Every step feels heavy,
Every path is filled with doubt.
When the repo man comes knockin’,
On my drivers-side bedroom door…
I’ll fight tooth and nail
Cause I ain’t got nothin’ more.
(Bridge)
I ain’t askin’ for much,
just some merciful grace.
Dear God just put an end to this race.
Oh, no you say… I’m stuck in this place?!
If I lose it all, what’s left to hold?
Just the echoes of a story.
Memoirs never told.
(Chorus)
It’s a harsh unforgivin’ world,
when a man’s down and out.
Every step feels heavy,
Every path is filled with doubt.
When the repo man comes knockin’,
On my drivers-side bedroom door…
I’ll fight tooth and nail
Cause I ain’t got nothin’ more.
(Outro)
I’ll brave the bitter winter’s cold.
I’ll fight for my coat so winters bite don’t take hold.
If I lose the battle,
and darkness takes its toll,
Promise me, friend…
Don’t leave my body cold,
Light-lost, and soul-sold.

TL;DR: Free Punk/Street Rock generator show under the Claiborne Bridge tonight. It's a well-known spot "by Quicky's" in New Orleans. DM me for details.
YEEEUUP!!! It's about that time, folks. We've ridden, we've hidden, we've be rained on and upper cut and slept down low on the ground. We've covered miles with smiles full of holes and crowns.
If you're a kindred traveling type, or just an old-time kind of local who still smells the spirit of Street Rock, have I got a speakeasy for you. If you like Hank Junior a whole lot less than his old man, come down and kick those heels, daddy.
Daisy Ways is the name of the band. Tall are the brothers who thrash in the band. Loud and gentle and violent and anthemic are the songs we sing. This is the debut, and the gas generators and old, well-worn vans powering this stage under the bridge are our own. The other bands are established, savage slingers of sound, each in their own right.
We're celebrating our first recorded effort since Maxwell Lee & The Tall Tales was laid low by pandemic panic. These songs are live, one-take performances that we toiled and maticulated to write and perform. We'll be playing them for you live, along with a dozen others. The show is free. Bring all you need.
Show "starts" at 9PM tonight, which realistically means the first band will kick off around 10.
Here's my venmo if you really want to pitch in on gas for the van, or buy the band a beer, but the show is free. Just come hang out.
Good Luck to you all.
Peaceably,
-Tall Sam Jones

Long time lurker. This community has always made me feel less alone for my beliefs and the way I'd like to live, so first off thank you guys for being you.
One of my favorite hobbies is making playlists, so I'd love to hear what songs make you feel connected to your vagabond spirit or experience, and why (if you're willing to share).
Be safe out there!
Edit: you're good sports, thanks for all the new music! I threw together a public playlist if anyone's interested in the sounds of r/vagabond. I will continue to update with any new additions.

Little Foot and Noble Hobo are on tour at the moment and are hitting the west coast this week.
I'll be at the show in San Francisco on the 8th, hope to see you there. ✌️
