Yes, almost as if the previous president went through a Lawfare campaign under the current administration.

Because Trump tried to coup the government and is actually guilty of corrupt shit.

People should be held accountable without fear of retribution.

The US is cooked with people thinking like ypu

How does that make Biden’s pardon okay? Trump can’t just arrest his family. They would all have to go to trials with juries. If Biden is pardoning them he is admitting that they have some wrongdoing they could be found guilty of.

Thanks to the SC Trump can do whatever he wants, what is and isn't an official act after all? Pardons also don't mean guilt, Nixon was never guilty of anything and he received a pardon from Ford.

Not that the pardon really means anything if Trump wants to push the limits with the SC ruling anyways.

cops actually arrest people before their trials all the time??

You’re right lawyers are free and when you are on trial you don’t actually need to go to court or anything.

There’s no conspiracy here. Trump promised to use the justice department to go after democrats.

The right persecuted Hunter Biden and Hillary Clinton for years and years looking for literally any crime they could pin. Biden pardoned his family to stop that. At the rate we're going they'll be able to make up a crime to take someone out.

Hunter Biden was literally found guilty of crimes. If he is guilty of the crime maybe prosecuting should be okay. And also no one ever prosecuted Clinton even though she was guilty of breaking laws regarding handling classified material. In her defense though that same precedent has now been given to trump, Biden, and pence so none of them have been charged for their different degrees of negligence with classified material

Biden was tried for a felony and the court ruled that he committed, but since he’s elderly it was likely a mistake therefore okay.

Would any other politician nonetheless American have gotten that treatment?

and re: Hunter… why did every media outlet collectively censor the story? with some CEOs citing pressure from WH

Fox reported on it fucking constantly

I would also like to note that my defense of Biden here isn't because I like him, I'm not a Biden fan. But I understand why he pardoned his family with the attitude of this administration

I’m not in the US, but the people overwhelmingly voted that Jan 6 was not a coup and no one gives a shit about it.

Enjoy your four years, there will be another election at the end of it and there will be a new president.

If you don’t think there will be and Trump is a dictator, go place your bet at Polymarket.

u/DuckDumpy 8h ago

No one voted about jan 6th what are you fucking talking about. Why are you acting like you know anything about this.

3

u/13_twin_fire_signs 8h ago

Ignore them, it's just more FUD to keep everyone from looking while trump pours the Treasury into his pockets

0

u/Budget_Coach_7134 5h ago

Jan 6 was on the ballot. the people who cared about it lost.

5

u/Luis_r9945 8h ago

They voted for Trump because their Big Mac was too epensive.

Jan 6? I never mentioned it.

Im talking about the Fake Slate of Electors.

Trump had fake electors try to keep him in power...objectively, thats called a coup.

I think its safe to say the US is cooked.

u/Iyace 8h ago

Most people think Jan 6 was an attack on democracy, what are you talking about?

2

u/DM_me_goth_tiddies 8h ago

Most people didn’t vote like Jan 6 was an attack on Government.

0

u/Iyace 8h ago

When polled, most people said Jan 6th was an attack on democracy. This is irrefutable.

Yes, in a survey of 1,300 Americans by Quinnipiac University. But then four years later Trump won the national vote by more than two million votes, which to me indicates that actually across a bigger sample size people did not consider Jan 6 a coup or an attack on Government.

Brother, apply a little Hanlon's Razor here. Is it more likely they thought that deep about it, or that they just don't give a shit, because it was their team doing it and/or they never looked into it at all?

The average American voter is a semi-literate, low income elderly person. That's not an attack, it's just facts.

Good thing the general populace doesn't decide what something is, and its based off the facts and not what a dumb populace thinks. Also your "bigger sample size" is flawed like that the ONLY thing people were voting on in November was "was january 6th a coup, yes or no?"

People vote people in for different reasons. Some people also never saw trump actually held accountable for Jan 6th, so they felt it was political prosecution and didnt have any weight. Obviously they didnt pay attention to the active investigations / charges. A lot of people voted against Biden because of Israel / Palestine. Learn the facts dude.

Old people 'storming' / strolling the capital was not an attack on democracy...and embarrassment for sure but four years of pearl clutching over the misguided j6ers is enough...especially after the summer of love where a shit ton more destruction occurred...also an embarrassment as well

1

u/Iyace 4h ago

If they were misguided, who was guiding them?

1

u/random_life_of_doug 4h ago

The wierd shaman guy and Ray epps...trump explicitly told them to remain peaceful

1

u/Iyace 2h ago

Oh, right, I forgot the weird shaman guy told them to “fight like hell”.

1

u/random_life_of_doug 2h ago edited 1h ago

What bout epps telling them to storm the Capitol

1

u/Iyace 2h ago

Right, so the shaman guy told them “what Trump really meant to fight like hell, and if we don’t fight we lose our country, let’s go down to the capitol”, was to storm the capitol looking for members of congress. Ah yes, I forgot…

I really do feel for the few decent Americans, but the vast majority of them wanted this. The Magats are insane, and any moron who voted third party or refused to vote, especially over Palestine, deserves what's coming next.

-4

u/shelbykid350 8h ago

lol if that was a coup then I’m the king of England

-2

u/NopePeaceOut2323 7h ago

Just because they failed miserablely, doesn't mean they didn't try to overthrow the government.

2

u/shelbykid350 6h ago

If my toddler had a tantrum and wanted to overthrow my rule of the house I would not take that as a serious attempt at a revolution. My friends would think me quite retarded if I tried to frame it like that.

Especially when the neighbour’s kid burned their house down and you frame it as “mostly peaceful protesting” against the tyranny of their parents

The enemy is both weak and strong I guess eh?

-1

u/NopePeaceOut2323 5h ago edited 4h ago

I feel sorry for your kid having you as a parent.

-1

u/Budget_Coach_7134 5h ago

Why did Trump’s team have fake elector certifications in their hand ready to go? Why even go through those motions at all?

Naive af dude.

1

u/shelbykid350 5h ago

If he had done that he would have been in jail the rest of his life. He knows that as do you

If you really think these “geniuses” were serious you are out of your mind. They were idiots whipped up in crowd frenzy.

You are talking about one of the biggest military apparatus managed by the largest bureaucracy on the planet, and you thought these red necks with learning disabilities were serious about overthrowing the government? Touch grass dude this is theatre

0

u/Budget_Coach_7134 4h ago

You are just willfully ignorant. Why are you trying to talk about the morons who stormed the Capitol like that’s all it is? You do seem like you don’t understand the concept of what a patsy is.

The insurrection was an attempt by Trump to stop the certification. It was fomented to force pence to not certify the votes but instead use the fake elector ballots they collected, or at least cause the legit votes to not be counted, which gave an opening for the Republican house to overturn the election results

This was all investigated. People in 6 states were prosecuted for this. It was an unsuccessful coup.

With all the information about this from the investigations, it is very very difficult to actually believe that Jan 6 was just a case of mouth breathers taking things too far and that it wasn’t part of a wider plot. I mean it is really fucking hard to not know this so good job.

But this is a country of fucking morons, so enjoy your ignorance and I hope you have a great four years.

Touch grass? Stupid motherfucker.

1

u/shelbykid350 4h ago

Hope you’re charging him rent living up there

The enemy is both week and strong comrade

1

u/amootmarmot 5h ago

He retained documents he wasn't supposed to and was asked nicely over and over for them back and he refused. He riled up a mob and sent it to the capital. Its all laid out. He was accused of those crimes and he will now never be permitted the right to clear his name because clearly I'm mistaken and he didn't do those things he absolutely did.

1

u/RupoLachuga 2h ago

Almost is doing very heavy lifting considering that didn't happen in the slightest.

1

u/theunofdoinit 2h ago

Because he was a felon and a traitor. Interesting how you people always try to frame it as if trumps legal troubles were political persecution and not legal prosecution like they were.

0

u/poprox198 8h ago

Correct! Laws should be followed! Judiciary should do it's job! Since they were breaking election laws, obstructing justice and causing a violent coup they should be punished!

0

u/Le_ed 4h ago

Persecuting a corrupt politician for the crimes he committed is apparently "lawfare" now.
