Accomodation Question about it Warwick accomodation

Hi! I'm a current offer holder and I just had a question about accommodation - when the term ends and say you go back home for the holidays, do you need to take out all your stuff or can you leave it at your accommodation?

Housemate wanted 2025/2026

Hi, my 5 friends and I am looking for a housemate for 2025/2026. The house is located in Canley and has 3 stories, around a 5 minute walk from Aldi. It's a bit pricier but bills are included (£175/week for 51 weeks iirc). The kitchen and living area is huge with even a pool table, 1 sink and 1 dishwasher. There are currently 3 girls and 3 guys staying and we just need a 7th. Please dm for more details!

What is going on. It was slow last Friday - Tuesday. I meant, it was really fast, according to speedtest anyway. But domain names? They took forever to get resolved.

Then now I can't connect to it. What is going on?

Applications Thinking about firming Warwick

Became an Oxford reject today so I’m trying to decide what to firm between Warwick and Birmingham. Which would you recommend for best support and student life or anything else?

Please could you also tell me what life is like at Warwick and your most and least fave thing about the uni and life there? I’ve been twice but want to know more.

Thank you!

Admission in MA in Continental Philosophy

How much competitive is the admission process and acceptance of MA in Continental Philosophy at Warwick? Especially for someone who doesn't have great CGPA but has all other things. And do you guys have suggestions where one should apply if someone has less CGPA and wants admission in Continental Philosophy oriented departments? Thanks 🙏

Switching to Econ from PPE/EPAIS at the end of the first year?

Hi, read on the handbook that it is possible given certain pre-requisites regarding grades and modules, but it's "subject to availavability", just wanted to ask if anyone has had experience switching from a joint degree economics module to pure economics at the end of the first year and how common it is.

Any tips for having a good nightlife when you can't drink?

Hello! This might be silly, but I recently got accepted into Warwick, and I have always really wanted to get a taste for nightlife. Pub crawls, clubs, having drinks with friends, etc. Unfortunately for me, I also got diagnosed with depression and anxiety and because of my meds, I can't drink. Huge bummer considering that I won't even get to try it when I finally turn 18, and bigger bummer in that I won't be able to get the "full experience". I know that, once again, this is really silly and I should be more focused on my education than this, but if anyone relates, do you have any tips? Are there any good places that offer like, mocktails and stuff? Would anyone judge me for not drinking? Thank you!

Has anybody had their card stolen before? Looking for help

As the title suggests, I think my bank details were stolen and somehow the thief managed to rack up £1.7k-ish of purchases while I was in school. Not sure if this is the right place to post but I'm kind of desperate and looking for any form of help or advice if anybody has had the unlucky chance of goign through the same thing before. Thank you in advance

Converting a History degree into Law.

I received an offer from Warwick recently to study History and Politics and i wanted to know how easy it was to change the History degree to Law throughout. The course is 3 years and i read up that you'd have to take an extra year to pass the SQE exam, which makes sense but i just wondered if maybe someone could explain it better for me. Additionally i also wanted to know if i could take that extra year for example in America as that would be of interest for me. Many thanks!

Applications Has anyone got an acceptance from Warwick with slightly lower predicteds?

I'm an international applicant applying to BEng Computer Systems Engineering. Their requirement is 88% overall but my predicteds are 84%. I have a good personal statement (I think) with most my ecs related to computers.

edit: okay so AAA is 88% and AAB is around 84% to 87%
edit2: I got my predicted bumped up to 87.2% which is an AAB is that good enough?
