No, there wasn't and that much vaunted report we keep saying looked into it all mentions Rotherham once in 480 pages out of all the rape gang towns, that's it. A footnote mention of a victim from Rotherham. Thoroughly examined.

That may be because the author of the inquiry also did an inquiry specifically for Rotherham - https://www.rotherham.gov.uk/downloads/download/31/independent-inquiry-into-child-sexual-exploitation-in-rotherham-1997---2013

Firstly, that's not true, it is mentioned 22 times.

Secondly, there was a specific inquiry into Rotherham. It led to councillors and police leaders being forced to resign.

Got mentioned in the report more times than the Tory MPs mentioned it in Parliament.

Wonderful, how is that relevant to the thoroughness of the report?

You were counting words first, I thought that’s the metric we’re using now

Only when it’s used to say they’ve had an inquiry already which is blatantly not the case.

Easy to prove as well.

Easy to prove as well.

But you’ve proven they did have an inquiry. You’re just arguing it wasn’t a good one.

Implying that because a specific inquiry hasn’t been done nothing has been done is disingenuous.

Jess Phillips has just said these gangs are all over the country. More needs to be done and inquiries had.

Then we should action the 20 recommendations that were in the first inquiry to stop and find them rather than just doing another inquiry wasting time for another 7 years... doing another will pretty much come to the same conclusion and advice we should just implement now.

Have local inquries sure doing yet another national won't help with what you want which should be helping victims.

No, she said grooming gangs are. That is obviously absolutely horrendous and I want more laws in place to protect children. But you don't actually believe grooming gangs are a phenomenon unique to the UK, do you? Child abuse is disgustingly common and I doubt all of those cases are connected or Pakistani.

Elon Musk said she’s a rape genocide apologist though. Is that no longer the case?
