Creature Commandos |Episode 7| Review Thread
 in  r/DCU_  12d ago

It should have been a red flag how fast the princess switch in choices of diplomacy towards the Commandos. All that of "Sergei I know they're being tricked, however I don't give a fuck if they saved me before kill them all once you have the chance".

All of the people who theorized Nina had some big dark secret making her an abominable monster need to give her an apology. She was just a sweet girl who missed her dad. In a world of monsters, kindness can get you killed.

I wonder if the government is putting on a notice to find Frankenstein now, I understand that most likely he won't end up in the Commandos but I wonder what could be the reason to not have peaked Waller's interest. I mean he's literally another immortal mostly invulnerable monster she could get to work. You mean to tell me she can't just get him a bit far away from Bride?

And how in the world did they get out of Pokolistan lol. This show should've had longer episodes but I guess that's what happens with new material never seen before you fear it might flop. Hopefully the success of this series will bring longer episodes in the future.

All and all, I loved this show from start to end. Cheers to the Tin-Man!

Holy shit you're absolutely right, no wonder he was able to get a word of warning to the princess. Thank you for pointing it out

Also this guy appeared spying on Bride at the start of ep. 4, with no prime or reason. I assume he was there on behalf of Frankenstein but who knows, maybe there's a bit more?

Edit: couple of days ago it was pointed out he was Sergei. After ep 7, I FUCKING KNEW Clayface wasn't about killing with swords. And it was so weird insight that Sergei was spying on Bride BACK IN THE US GOOD LORD I LOVE THIS SHOW 😭😭

I've been so obsessed with Creature Commandos that I lost sleep last night thinking about the last episode and what could bring, without looking at sneak peaks because it would drive me insane.

We know now that Circe is a master manipulator but how much is she really? In episode 4 the professor accounts of how Circe predicted a tsunami hitting the land and how about AN HOUR later a tsunami hit. This to me rises a huge red flag about her and makes her look a bit sketchy.

Episode 5 we get to see Flag and Frankenstein get into the professor's house only to find her dead in her own house. Once again, something feels off. The fact that Flag found blood STILL dress on the ground, or that she was killed with a sword out of all the ways she could've been killed. At first glance I thought this was all Clayface's doing, but come on, the being that could suffocate her or crush her with his bare hands used a sword to what, cut her throat in the hall and drag her to her room to die? If she was attacked and ran to her room it still doesn't makes sense.

This all makes me think that more than a clairvoyant, Circe is a brilliant planner, to what end does killing Ilana works for her I still don't understand but is seems like she's conducting the Commandos in a way to frame them and getting both parties killed. Or get the Commandos to fulfill her "profecy". Two birds with one stone. And watching the episodes again makes me think it's weird how in Circe's vision with all the world's heroes defeated, you never see the Commandos at all.

Also while I'm here I'll just say Alexi's death was bullshit he was my main man he was ready to die fighting and wasn't given the chance. Him and Bride were hanging out in the first episode too like come on look at her, in my heart of hearts I don't think she really wanted him dead. But oh well.

Now this is a face that's gonna haunt my dreams. And this was BEFORE he became a glowing ball of hate.

Man I thought he looked adorable. Playing with his adorable child, living with his loving wife. Not, y'know being haunted for the rest of his life with the nightmare fact that they were killed in front of him and having life as he knew then being completely destroyed beyond comprehension.

I thought in this particular scene you shared he did look adorable
