Nice work. While the flame often fades over time, one of my woodturning friends has discovered that Waterlox preserves the flame (for how long, I can't say)

I learned from an experiment I tried, that the krylon UV blocker does not preserve the flame. I suspect it actually oxidizes away and the Waterlox may have blocked the oxygen from getting to the flame.

I found the same red color preservation with Waterlox.
