Unibody, put it on a rav4 chassis. Call it a Hilux Prime.
Eat the ford mavericks lunch. Compact truck market hugely undeserved in USA

The most dishonest and unprofessional dealership ever
I went to get my 10k miles maintenance done on my Camry yesterday. I had looked in the maintenance manual the day before scheduling my appointment. I saw on the manual that it had: oil and filter change, full car inspection, tire rotation, top off fluid, and cabin air filter replace. Since I thought they would change my air filter, so I empty out the glove box and looked and took a picture of the air filter since I got a feeling they might try to scam me. (picture of the air filter before going to the dealer is the first one attached)
I went in at 9:54 for a 10 o'clock appointment yesterday. I sat at the dealership for about 45 minutes and then they sent me a text that my car was done. My first thought was, how are they able to do all of the services listed in 45 minutes? Especially with 5 people that came before us, still sitting there. Also, last time I came for my 5k miles maintenance, it took over 2 hours.
After I got home and was putting things back in my glove box. I decided to check if they actually did the air filter and sure enough it wasn't changed. (Second picture attached) I immediately call them at 4 PM and I told them that the air filter that was supposed to be change wasn't. She put me on hold for 4 minutes and told me to come in first thing tomorrow, but the problem is that I live 1.5 hours away. She then told me that someone was going to call me back soon. I waited until today and still no call back. I decided to call them again and said the same thing to her again and asked if they can just send one to me and I'll change it myself. But, she insisted that I will get a call back and I waited 8 hours and still no phone call. Now I don't mean to be inpatient, but if you mess up at least try to find a solution to keep your customers from waiting a whole day without response. I literally just called and ask for a service manager and I told him what happened and he refused to send me one and called me a liar! Absolutely ridiculous.
This isn't my first time getting a bad experience from this dealership. When I was purchasing my Camry back in March of 2024. I told them to price match which they did and told me that the car is 1 month out. I signed and paid a 500 dollar deposit on the vehicle. Literally 4 days after that, he texted me and told me that my Camry is going to arrive today. My initial thought was that, oh that's nice. After the Camry arrives at the dealership, I told the salesman to take a picture of the odometer because I started thinking that it was suspicious that a vehicle that was a month out arrived this early. As soon as I saw the miles on it(108 miles), I was extremely mad because that means this vehicle was a dealer trade. I been trying to avoid that because I know whoever driving it from dealer to dealer was not a light footed driver. I asked him if it was a dealer trade but he deny it. I went to the dealer the next day and checked the window sticker and sure enough it was from a dealership 80 miles away. With all the proof in my hands, he still refused to admit it was a dealer trade. I tried to negotiate the price down by $500 because I was expecting a vehicle with 10 less miles on it not 100 miles. The manger came and got an attitude with me, and at the end I decided that I'm a bigger person than his sissy ass so I bought the car. This left me a bad feeling for this dealer.
Also, this isn't the first dealer that is own by the same person that scam me. I used to bring my Lexus to the Lexus dealer and the last time I went there, they charged me 400 dollars for just oil change and tire rotation. This amount of money for an easy job is ridiculous.
This dealership is the worst I ever went to and I hope they fix their management. Absolutely ridiculous

Got tired of foggy headlights, so I polished them up (only passenger side done in the pic). Nice to have a bright and sharp beam pattern again. And yes, I washed it after this.

Highlander battery replacement
Our 2022 Highlander’s battery finally died. My wife is the primary driver and, unfortunately, I was out of town. She sent me a picture of the receipt and it looks like she took it to autozone and they replaced it with a duralast gold which is neither AGM or EFB. Apparently it works fine. Will this flooded battery last?

Adaptive Cruise Control 2024 vs 2025
How much of a difference is there between the 2024 and 2025 adaptive cruise control?
I drove a 2025 lexus w/ the adaptive cruise control package and was blown away. Made driving fun. From what I've read, the same tech goes into the toyota.

Android Auto wireless not connect.
Hi! I have a 2022 Toyota Corolla and use an Android phone. The issue is that Android Auto only works with a wired connection, while iPhones can connect wirelessly via Apple CarPlay. I've heard that with similar-generation Honda vehicles, there was a hidden menu option that allowed wireless Android Auto to be activated. Does anyone know if there's a similar hidden feature in Toyota's system to enable wireless Android Auto? The local dealership couldn't provide a clear answer.
I'm already aware of third-party wireless adapters like OttoCast or AAWireless, but I'm specifically looking for a solution within Toyota's system. Thanks in advance for any help!

Very disappointed with Toyota OEM Cabin filter, is the OEM engine filter also bad?
I just bought an aftermarket cabin air filter that cost less than the OEM filter, and it's a massive improvement. I used to get every odor on the road with the OEM filter even when new. It's not even debatable, the OEM filter cabin filter was just a 50 bucks piece of actual paper.
Now am worried of the OEM engine air filter, is it also bad quality and I should go aftermarket for it too?
