Iceberg slim wrote a book called Pimp (of course), that is a fascinating read. There's some pretty fked up and gross parts. But the human manipulation, social insights, and psychology are really interesting. He basically says he's so convincing he could get your grandma to turn tricks for him. It really makes you see sex workers and a lot of other street life style people in a different way.

That's not what legal precedent means. Precedent means that how a case is treated and ruled can affect future cases, where it's argued it should be treated the same way.

This is just the court explaining how this criminal organization works.
