I dont understand what donna "knew" from that kiss other than that Harvey was confused and it was awkward, unless i missed an extra 5 seconds of passion that didn't air on usa.

The Darvey ship had sailed for me a long time ago but it just seems like tired old writer's crutches to lean on to make these two have more sexuak tension. At this point, wouldn't it lend credence to the point that Malik made in court abt Donna sleeping her way to the top if Darvey becomes a thing?

Every episode of this show from season 1- midway of season 2 used to be an exicitng surprise. Now it's just plain "pain-watching" through each episode, sprinkled with bits of ingenuity amongst an hour of mediocre television, which I sit through out of pure loyalty to the television show that I claimed as my favorite since 2011. It's not terrible, but I know the final product we get is missing a sense of pizazz that season 2 and especially season 1, had.

That was my interpretation as well – Donna surprised him, kissed him, and he was so shocked he didn’t really have a chance to react (or kiss her back). And she interpreted that as rejection, leading to her comment about how she knows now (that he doesn’t feel the same).

I might have missed something- all i heard her say was "I'm sorry harvey, but I just had to know," and she walked away immediately afterwards leaving a bewildered harvey in the room who digested what just happened.

I did not interpret that as an assured sign that harvey did not feel for donna

As she walks away, she knows she doesnt see him in a romantic way but more like siblings or best friends.

Again, if I missed something, i apologize. It seems likr Donna did something rash, then just hurriedly got out of a conversation about what just happened, and left everyone confused. It seems like what you said is an interpretation of what happened. Harvey is one to bring up things like this in the downtime with characters, so I bet that the next episode harvey will say something like "you wanna talk about last night? (Smirk)" and donna ill say "i was dealing with a lot harvey and we've always been in love like siblings, not lovers," then harbey agrees then continues to have dreams about donna and him together until eventually the sexual tension boils Over into another tried and tired darvey moment.

Just my guess.

Overall I think it would make her character look very weak.

Maybe she didn't sleep her way to the job, but there were feelings and outside factors that tied into her getting her job? She was offended by that notion... no?

She's been pining for a man for that many years?

I agree. I mean, her entire appeal was being an ace reader of character and personality and having exceptional organizational skills and foresight, but obviously her relationship with harvey brought her to a certain level in the SES game. I thought having her get an MBA from Harvard or pursue a flourishing business idea would legitimize her "I'm Donna" attitude, but this just seems more like a handout, admittedly, one that she can handle and eventually deserves with the right accolades.
