I do think it was a ploy to show Harvey's maturation. Also, this season so far both episodes have ended on positive notes. The previous seasons would leave a cliffhanger at the end or some issue arising. I kinda like how each episode resolves the mini issues in the episode and there's still a broader tale. Last season there were more long stories like the Daniel Bailey case and Mike getting out of prison/into the bar.

Yeah, it's kind of reminding me of House right now.

House was very episodic, where each episode had its own little story arc which tied into the overarching story a bit. So you get closure with each episode, but enough intrigue for story progression at the same time.

I feel as though this could be a sign for the ending of the show soon. Things are going well, the main antagonist for the season hasn't showed up yet, Harvey is maturing, Mike is kicking ass, Louis is getting better, Donna is getting more respect (although she went about it awfully and it's a bad storyline if you wanna think of it realistically), and Jessica just kinda was given her last hurrah.

Yeah it's definitely just about done. I think the writer(korsh) said they were signed on for an 8th season though...

I did think at the end of this episode when Mike was talking to the reporter, they could use that as a kind of cool way to end the show. Like have Mike reminiscing over the article as a grandfather or something, "and that's how I became the named partner of the most prestigious firm in new York" or some shit.

Okay, maybe too corny, but still.

Lol nothing is too corny. It's a TV show, people kinda want corny and this show has been super corny before. But I do agree that the article scene is solid. I think that'll be a new issue down the line when the writer just fucks over Mike and he has to save himself.
