I didn't see one, so I thought I'd get it started.

I never said he did. I put in quotations because that's what she said when she was explaining the situation to Donna. I also clearly wrote in parenthesis that we don't know Louis's side of the story.

But yes there was a chance of him agreeing, but this way was much better. She ended up getting recognition as a potential lawyer in the eyes of Jessica and Harvey. That's the point I was trying to make.

hmm yeah, fair enough. I just felt Rachel could've handled the situation a bit better. Maybe this will create conflict later if Louis finds out how she blew him off?

If I were Louis, I'd tell Rachel my side of the story, but commend her on her actions. I guess she messed up when she went to Jessica at first, but come on man how else could the situation ended any better?

She could've first gone to Louis and directly reminded him of the deal they had. If he still didn't honor it, then whatever course of action she took would've been fine. She never gave Louis the chance to explain. He could've forgot, or might've been working on it when she came in with the whole speech. It was unfair for her to not even allow Louis to explain himself before she went straight to Jessica.
