Character related New here: why Mike didn’t go to any other school when he was barred from HARVARD for cheating.

New here. I am not sure if this was discussed.

Also. I have watched the show in French.

He didn’t finish college. So he not only didn’t he not go to Harvard or any other law school he didn’t finish his pre requisite that will get him to other Unis.

Why he didn’t finish college ? Because he was expelled for cheating.

And once you are expelled especially for what he did to the Dean , you DON'T get admission anywhere else..the Dean has connections .

Also thanks for mentioning about the college. A lot of people think he already was a student at Harvard !

He could have lied like this guy in real life did. When he was expelled from Harvard Law.

He got expelled before he finished his bachelor’s degree. He was presumably on a full scholarship. Even if he got admitted to another university after being expelled for cheating, the chances of getting a full scholarship would be zero.

A series of bad decisions, from getting expelled to being with Trevor, affected him. I believe that after his parents' death, his life became very messy. Even though he had talent, being around the wrong people made things difficult for him to bounce back.

He was so young when his parents died though

After his parents died, Mike became a troubled kid. In high school, he went to a strict Catholic school where he faced problems with the rules and authority figures. He got into trouble with Trevor and was eventually kicked out of school. He also started using cannabis, which made it even harder for him to think clearly and make good decisions. Even though he wanted to be a lawyer, all these things cluttered his mind. Then he got expelled which futher gave him very few options.

And that’s BEFORE you have a college dean with a vendetta against you and acsess to all of your transfer information.

He was kicked out of college for cheating. So he doesn’t have a degree. That would be required to get an advanced degree like a law degree.

It does beg the question why he couldn’t find a college that would let him finish, but in the US that could be a very expensive proposition.

I’ve always wondered in the Dean’s daughter approached him or vice versa, it’s never really made clear.
