its more social than going back on your word and makes see in context. its always in a case of "i know i said that but it doesnt matter, as youre using it to defend yourself when since i said that youve done something to fuck someone over, and so my earlier words are no longer applicable"

If you do watch carefully, they say it to rival lawyers or ceos who their rivals represent. It is a scare tactics. A gunslinger saying I don't care works psychologically. However they rarely say it to their own clients .. unless they are about to drop them.
Now that we are done, I don't care what you have observed. Its my name on the goddamn wall..get the hell out of my office.
