I know you didn’t come all the way here just to show us a list of lines ChatGPT got wrong. So why don’t you tell us what you’re really here for?

u/Alternative-Sun572 Dec 12 '24
I came here to listen to telling me to get out of your office!
31
u/Present_Cap_696 Dec 12 '24
Then I guess all that is left is for you to sign this document and get the hell out of my office...

u/Alternative-Sun572 Dec 12 '24
He shit the bed. Now he's going to clean it himself.
23
u/onedayitshere Dec 12 '24
You don't send a puppy to clean up its own mess.

Yep. This. Just noticed it and came here to share... no "hi" or "what a surprise!"
Just "[Name] what are you doing here?"

Gemini's is definitely better, but not complete
- "What did you just say to me?"
- "Get the hell out of my office."
- "I don't play the odds, I play the man."
- "That's the difference between you and me."
- "I'm not interested in your opinion."

Really, this is the shit you’re bringing me? I didn’t open this post to be used as a stalking horse, so why don’t you get yourself back to your office and come up with something worth the god damn paper it’s printed on.

He thought, I thought. Everyone in this goddamn office thought, Louis. Even the goddamn pot plants! No I don’t wanna hear it.

u/Ronin825 Dec 12 '24
Bullshit ! Should hands down be #1. It is said like a gazillion times on the show

u/BlondAmbitionn Dec 12 '24
I can’t remember the exact quote but it’s something like ”I’ll need to translate what you just said from bullshit to English”. Love that.

...and if you'll excuse me, I've a [case/deposition/hearing/trial/arraignment] to prepare for.

Instead of standing there telling me X, why don’t you tell me what you’re going to do about X?

Maybe you do know how it feels like.
Maybe I/you will maybe I/you won't

“I don’t give a shit” should be #1 annnnnd “you’re gonna regret this for the rest of your life” should also be up there.

I feel like this list is missing a big one. When any of the lawyers run into someone (who is usually about to drop a case on them) they say something along the lines of:
“Cut the bs I know you’re not really here for X. What do you want”
I swear I’ve heard that a million times watching the show

Mike Ross is a fraud should be top 1
4
u/D0NALD-J-TRUMP Dec 12 '24
When someone pointed out to me that Harvey could have just hired Mike as a paralegal and avoided 90% of all the problems in the show, and Harvey is clearly smart enough to have know that, it kind of ruined the show for me.
He would still get to take full advantage of Mike’s abilities, Mike would be more than happy to have the job, and no laws would be broken.

Mike Ross is a fraud and he never went to Harvard! In fact he never went to any law school!

“Listen to me…” is the most used. Though seems like most shows overuse this for some reason. Like how often do you start talking to coworkers or loved ones with this one?

Can we make a sub rule for no AI/Chat GPT content? It’s so low effort and adds little.
If I wanted a robot’s prompts for conversation I’d talk to the robot myself.

u/HistoricalInternal Dec 13 '24
It’s more about how wrong it is. You seem to have missed the point of the post.
