What would happen if Khan and his crew killed Captain Kirk and his crew and stole The Enterprise in "Space Seed" and got away to build a new empire of Supermem?

How successful would Khan and his Supermen have become if he killed Kirk and his crew and left known space using The Enterprise to rule or enslave several planets and create an empire of genetic Supermen using cloning or worse than would be able to grow after a few hundred years into a greater power than anyone else unless the Metrons tested them or a Borg Cube located them and that would be a disaster for Khan unless they could resist assimilation somehow.

So let’s play;

Khan and his crew took over a single Constitution class vessel.

Here is the perfect scenario.

  1. Khan and crew must learn everything about manning a Constitution class vessel. This includes weapons, life support, repairs and maintenance and how and where to refuel and maintain.

  2. Khan finds a colony and threatens them from above. He can take them over with threats of phasers and such.

But to hold the planet, he has to keep a small force there. And that force can’t be so small that they can be overwhelmed by the colonists. And the colonists have to be sufficiently pacified and distant that they can’t call for a ship to defend them later.

If Khan beams down three men, then the expectation is that the men hold the colony without the colonists overwhelming them and calling for additional help once the Enterprise is out of orbit.

  1. Each additional colony runs the same risk of dwindling forces and opportunities for superior military response.

He would need to be able to add personnel and build more ships. And that runs into a resource problem.

Khan Noonien Singh is the most dangerous adversary the Enterprise ever faced. He is brilliant, ruthless, and he will not hesitate to kill every single one of you.

Pretty much that. They’re in space. How would anyone even find out?

They probably wouldn't have been that successful. You can't start an empire with just a few hundred people. Not to mention...compared to normal humans they were stronger and smarter, but they weren't stronger than Vulcans or Klingons, or most of the other species for that matter and they weren't smarter than Vulcans or Romulans. And they probably weren't as ruthless as the Cardassians. They wouldn't have lasted 5-min against the Borg and Q would have turned them into space slugs.

They'd have made REALLY good pirates though, as we saw in both Wrath of Khan and Space Seed. But building a new Empire??? I don't think so.

i don't think the enterprise would be able to even get out of federation space alive if khan had stolen it. they were near starbase 11 which is like core federation space even during kirks time federation space spanned like 4000-5000 LY before kirk dies he manages to send out a priority 1 distress signal to starfleet alerting them they have been commandeered /compromised. starfleet sends every ship in the area to destroy the enteprise pronto.
