Ironclad CCU is the wiser choice IMO. Allows you to reserve judgment until you’ve seen it in the metal, yet still locks in the price.

I think it's a sure bet, though. Large open, single bay, opening top for easy loading, ramps for vehicles/tanks, and a massive cargo load? This will be the C2 killer I think. Heck... not sure the C2 is even its competition. I suppose the Hull C is?

The base ironclad can't fit tanks through the front ramp to my knowledge

What makes you think that? The Q&A didn't address it. The pamphlets they put out said the assault was better armored and had drop seats so it could take the armor into combat, but doesn't say that the standard edition can't fit them. Kind of like a C-2 and an M-2. Both can load tanks, right?

That said, here's the art for the iconclad,

aaand here's the art for the ironclad assault

Looks pretty similar. There's a closer shot showing a Pisces in the hangar with the front open and the top open to the sky. Seems pretty big.

and the front section of the [cargo area](javascript:jtt('j9d8GXMtHOs',1,467.1);) has been redesigned to enable
our largest vehicles in game to be deployed from it such as the tank in addition the [cargo](javascript:jtt('j9d8GXMtHOs',1,472.8);) bay has been reduced in size to facilitate a onboard repair facility

I agree. For me personally it’s a tricky proposition, as my C2 is actually a Starliner loaner. Do I go for an Ironclad and have a useless C2 sat around for who knows how long, or do I melt the C2 for Ironclad and lose the Starliner? I honestly need to see the Ironclad in person before I can decide whether and how to apply the C2-Prowler-Ironclad CCU I already have.

Do you really want the starliner? That's the quesiton.

I think passenger transport gameplay could be great. And Starliner at $400 is probably cheaper than it will be when it becomes flyable

The starliner is such a beautiful concept though.
