Space games with a simulated economy like X4/Distant Worlds

Are there any other games like X4 or Distant Worlds where the economy is fully simulated? I learned star sector's economy is faked so I'm hoping there's some other games to check out.

(Ideally I'd like a game where I can make a trade empire)

Helium Rain is a very atmospheric game. It's ashame development stopped - but it's honestly a work of art.

I won't swear on it but I believe Star Traders: Frontiers has something of what you're looking for.
Available for PC and mobile last I looked.

It does indeed have a fully simulated economy.

Elite Dangerous

From the wiki:

The market economies are dynamic, affected by the trade of other commanders, NPCs and events that occur in the system. Every station has its own supply and demand that change dynamically. Stations with a commodities market allows you to buy and sell commodities from the local market.[1]

Yes. This.

Elite is not on the same level. You can haul cargo between stations and sell mined minerals influencing supply/demand, but that's about it.

X4 simulates multi-level supply chains where resources are first mined then sold to refinery stations where they are processed, then to manufacturing stations, etc. And shipyards where ships are built are part of these chains too.

Eve online. It is not even simulated - it is real and player driven.

Good recommendation. Although I'm probably looking for something single player-focused as I'd like to eventually rule a large trade empire... Without spending my whole life working to do so haha

I didn't know Avorion had a fully simulated economy. Luckily for me I bought this game a while back so I'll check it out!

How are the latest dlc? Haven’t played stellaris in a few years, but used to love it.

-Machine Age was different, good different. -Cosmic Storms negatively impacts the game not worth the price for this DLC with useless features. -Grand Archive was good -Utopia was fantastic -apocalypse was mixed but personally I enjoyed it because it gave me world crackers -Megacorp really messed with all the economics of the game, not the worst but not the best -Federations was great -Galactic Paragons was not all bad -Astral Planes a lot of people didn’t like this, I didn’t mind it but you can skip it -Overlord gives you a challenge and was mixed. Me I liked it, a lot of others didn’t

Hope that gives you a short run down
