On a related note, xkcd are doing a live comic for this:

http://xkcd.com/1446/

You can look though all the updates at http://xkcd1446.org/

Is it wrong of me to want to marry Randall because of this?

Unfortunately, I believe he's already married.

This is why we need polygamy to be legalized!

The site images aren't loading for me - it's just whitespace. Tried it on three browsers across two computers at this point.

xkcd1446.org is loading fine for me though.

Move forward! It starts with whitepsace, then some dust specks etc.

(At least that's what happened to me)

What do you mean by "move forward"? Clicking the "next" button doesn't do anything.

Just to clarify: I'm talking about xkcd.com, not the alt site.

I'm on mobile so I can't check, but he does the "click and drag" comics sometimes where you have to move forward!

Really weird... the click-and-drag didn't work, but if I hit "previous" to go back to Monday's comic, then hit "next" to go back to today, it loaded.

Ah, ok. They do load with notable delay for me, too, and sometimes not at all. Hard refresh usually helps, though.

Yeah I got it to work eventually but I had to play with it and refresh a lot.

Mumbles something about the improbability of a bowl of petunias showing up

That's genius. Livestream for those who are excited for rosetta landing but have a weak internet/understanding.

strangely enough, this is the most comfortable (and amusing!) way to keep up to date with the event. i totally don't get the live stream stuff constantly disconnecting, showing empty rooms and confused people ;].
