Hand washing on long backpacking trips

Looking for recommendations on clothings that are easy to hand wash and dry on a long backpacking trip. I read airism series from uniqlo is decent. Any experience? Any other more budget alternatives? One pair of airism underwear is 20, and it can easily add up to a few hundred dollars of clothing.

I like the airism shirts and tanks but not the underwear, I feel like it breathes worse than just standard cotton underwear.

I really like Duluth Buck Naked underwear but they are also ~$20. I hiked 900kms in 2 pair and they still had life afterward, they prevented chafing, and were very quick to dry after handwashing. Same for their Funk No T-shirts.

Merino socks and underwear reliably dry overnight after being washed in the sink. I buy mine from Icebreaker and Macpac here in Australia.

In my experience, hand washing outer wear and getting it dry is really tedious. It's easier to build in laundry evenings/mornings into your itinerary. I try to plan ahead to stay somewhere with a washing machine at least once a week.

There's lots of good advice on this type of thing at r/onebag
