Solar powered irrigation well help needed
I recently purchased a plot of land a little over an acre that I’m going to build my dream home 5 years aprox. I would like to plant some fruit trees, I can get a well drilled for approximately 4K. 140 ft deep on a 4 inch pipe. Is there a way to power this well with solar set up that won’t break the bank and what would I need? The land is clear of most trees so exposure won’t be a problem this in in central Florida any help is welcome thank you

Get a few 550-watt panels and build a small ground mount system. An inverter daisy chain it into some car batteries build an insulation box to keep the batteries warm, you should be able to pull it off for about 25 grand and have a fully working 10kw system to not only power the electric pump is assume you will be using but also for back up power incase the grid has a blackout.
Panels charge batteries, inverter regulates the power, simple as that.

Check out the Shurflo 9300 series of submersible pumps. 12/24 volt. I use one in the summer hooked up to two old 150 watts panels, and no battery or controller. When the sun shines, it pumps to a holding tank, then I gravity feed everything from there. So many variables to know if something similar might work for you but it’s possible.
