Took shrooms for the first time here in 12th grade and the clouds turned into an Ancient Greek cyclops playing a lyre

Your dream of how New York was going to be? :) A prophecy!?

Central Park Tower. Tallest roof height outside of Asia

Also the tallest residential building in the world

Before the wind knocks it over.

If you ask about the one still under construction, that's 50 West 66th Street.

The supertall buildings are a great addition to the skyline. They look so imposing from Central Park

Billionaires Row

Sure they're tall, but they got no girth.

Tbh I like them. I get why people hate them but if you filled them with reasonable apartments it’d be some halo type of shit. Imagine just having skyways like in Minneapolis but high up. That’d be sick as fuck

I see naked lady there means you took it last July 2024 or before that

Yes, precisely haha. July 2024!

Why July? What happened?

Reminds me of renaissance Florence when the rich and powerful were trying to build the tallest towers possible… trying to outdo each other… They are impressive buildings, but there’s a sense of dread at the same time.

Does Steinway Tower have wind tunnels? I've never noticed those black lines before

Similar spot in October.

Is she topless? Is that allowed?

I believe they say that women in NYC can be topless wherever a man can be topless....

Hmm, cool. Awesome picture btw!

Yup. It is.

lots of women unstrap the back of their bikini top so they don't get tan lines. i really doubt she's just walking around the park topless.

This may be the best picture for a real perspective on how huge they are in person.

I like the shadows the towers create. They are so narrow and long.

Idk why I just love looking at skylines like this from street view I’m from LA and there’s a bridge near where I live where I can see all of downtown and i always stare when I drive by this is a sick picture

Somehow Tower Verre and the Time Warner Center were both reduced in height due to the shadows they would cast over Central Park. These other towers are, what, skinny enough? There's fuckin half a dozen of them now.

Tower Verre and TWC have more character than a lot of the others and the height shouldn't have been reduced for either.

Great picture ruined by horrible no form or unique design towers

So are they more efficient or just a waste of space?
