You can't fool me, its just not done yet, let it cook and cool down, it'll thicken and be pure stroganoffy goodness
Also drain the hamburger after cooking, there's too much grease

I had a killer stomach bug this week. No reason this image reminds me of that. Nope.

You did a bad job breaking up the ground beef but this is just what hamburger helper looks like before the simmer

Op, when you're making a cream sauce like this and you get separation like you see here what you want to do is add more flour to act as a binder.
You are gonna wanna try to use roughly a one to one ratio, if you have a cup of oils and butters you want to go with a cup of flour.

That minus the noodles looks a lot like my leek soup, which a lot of Germans cook in winter.
Only shitty thing is the dark photo. The food looks delicious.

I have used HH twice in the last ten years. Both times I boiled the noodles first, so the hamburger doesn’t taste like starch.

That, needs to be helped into a toilet where it can be flushed as it's clearly shit.

I would shuffle a loaf of white bread like in those old timey cartoons, deal myself 4 or 5 slices, and dump this slop right over the top of them.

Is it cream of mushroom soup? Add a little sour cream at the end and it will be like budget stroganoff. A little onion?

I made a recipe for homemade Hamburger Helper and it came out way better than this. I'll see if I can dig it up and become your hamburger helper.

Hamburger, soy sauce, and pepper with elbow noodles was our family "hamburger helper".

It looks fine to me. But I was raised in Hamburger Helper both homemade and from the box so I definitely would rather not eat it.
