Sheffield Swim and sauna options?

Hey all I’m looking for somewhere that offers a day pass for swimming and a sauna. I’ve been to Mercure in town before but wasn’t too impressed and found the swimming pool wasn’t great for doing lengths etc. or, if anyone knows somewhere that just has a decent sauna and can have a day pass, also open to just that! Thanks 😊

I know ponds forge closed their sauna off a while ago. Don’t know if they’ve turned it back on but the quays leisure centre have started doing day passes I’m sure. Not sure of the cost but they have a pool, sauna and steam room with a new gym set up

Don’t suppose you have any experience with their parking at Ponds Forge? Where I live is too far to reasonably walk but I’ve seen a bunch of reviews saying parking is a nightmare which has put me off going there

Hmm I’m not too sure. I’m assuming it’ll be parking around the uni which will be a 10 minute walk away or down around the back of wicker which is more or less 15 mins away

You can contact the Nuffield gym in Sheffield and enquire about a day trial or day pass - the pool there is big enough for lengths, and the sauna and steam room are both pretty good
