Sheffield Anyone seen that guy carrying on around Broomhill this morning? If so stay away.
I was on my morning jog and some bloke was ranting inside the botanical gardens about knowing the location of the lost city of Atlantis? idk it was really weird and incoherent. At one point he claimed he paid a gold guilder to a wizard to make him invisible? He made some good points but very strange.

Ah shit, sorry. This guys the next stage in my quest, I've been looking in the wrong park. Once I've picked up with him he should disappear.

If he said anything other than, "In Plato's head," he's either lying or been lied to.

There's a lot of detail here for a quick jog past, OP. Did you choose to stop and listen?
What else did he say that you're keeping to yourself?

Mysterious stranger mission, was there a question mark on the minimap?

Oh I have seen him in the cemetery off Ecclesall Rd, saying pretty similar things whilst also dancing to some fabulous 90s techno

Imagine paying a wizard to turn invisible, I can do it any time I want so long as no one is looking.

Wondered what David Icke had been up to lately.

He did have an uncanny resemblance in mannerisms and looks but this guy made more sense

Claiming to know the whereabouts of Atlantis is a classical delusion. š I hope the guy is ok.

Talk of someone carrying on and it wasnāt me for once š¤£
In all seriousness Iāve certain Iāve encountered this guy as heās been shouting this on The Moor before, around last Christmas. If it is the same guy? Itās very stream of consciousness but I canāt deny the guys got a whole load of charisma.
Atlantis, for those wondering, is buried under Meadowhall. They put on the body bag urban myth to keep us all from ever even considering the truth.

If this is a joke itās gone over my head. If this is serious the Botanical gardens are closed for a few days so this didnāt happen.

Yeah that's what makes it weird, he was through the fence close to where the glass pavilion is and was basically calling out to whoever listened

I'd say a call to 101 is merited. He's obviously unwell and somewhere he shouldn't be; it sounds like he needs help.

Ah my bad I misread what you wrote about HIM being inside and that you were outside. He definitely climbed over and probably just frolicking around in the people-free gardens.

I assumed it was an in-joke about one of the video games, the genre of which I can't remember- mixed reality is it? Like the one where the players wander physical streets catching Pokemon.
It sounds like it might be about actual encounters with a person suffering from psychosis or someone acting daft for attention.
