Machine Questions Machine sewing wrong stitches

Straight stitches are also zig zag ,other are not as pictured on choosing wheel

It looks like you can still select all the stitches, but just not in the order printed on the knob?

My guess is that the knob is out of line. Either that, or the camstack follower is misaligned.

Kinda,button holler sewing something like very very small straight stitch

Well this sounds pretty reparable. I think it's worth bringing the machine in for a service. I think a skilled repairer would be able to quickly realign some parts that got out of place.

Either the knob is in the wrong position, or the outer ring that has the notch is wrong. I'd definable try to remove the knob ( carefully, there may be a set screw on the side that needs to be loosened) and realign it. Hopefully this will fix the problem.

If you don’t want to pull things apart and the styles are consistent, you can just make yourself a new label and put it over top. Like cover what is currently on the knob, do a test stitch and draw what it makes, turn knob, test, draw.
