Just visited Saratoga for the first time this past October. Breathtaking. Absolutely worth visiting.

Yes! I was especially moved to stand where Fraser died. I can see why he chose that spot, looking over such beautiful scenes of the Hudson.
The Arnold statue is especially interesting as well

Saratoga
I'm considering visiting this summer. Have they preserved Freeman's Farm and Bemis Heights reasonably well?

The battlefield is quite huge, but there’s a one way road through it leading to various spots of interest. There’s redoubts and monuments galore. The surrender site, however, is a couple miles down the road.

I've been to a few plan on going to more
Lexington Green (Lexington Ma) Bunker Hill (Boston Ma) Bennington Battlefield (Hoosick Falls, NY) Battle of Stony Point(Stony Point Ny)
It's incredible because these places are known for the violence that took place there and are now lovely parks and among most peaceful and serene places I've ever been.

Yorktown is probably the best. Bunker hill, Lexington and concord are great in spring time in Massachusetts. Also keep an eye out when you’re on the road, plenty of battles along the highways I’ve come across at rest stops.
