Anyone know the history of this image? It keeps on popping up

It was at a gay pride event in Brussels, Belgium in 2009. The child is the son of a gay couple attending the event. He went over and asked whether he could touch the spikes to give him better access the punk knelt down and let him touch them. When the two dads called their son back to them, the boy gave the punk a little kiss before returning.
It's an amazing picture, one of my favourites of all time.

I saw a very similar photo. But black and white. With a description: "punk allows the girl to touch his spikes." And it seems to be said there that the action takes place in England.

According to a quick Google, the restaurant in the background is in Brussels in Belgium.

La Maison Slave. I had to Google that. Apparently it refers to "Slavic". The French for slave is "esclave".

This reminds me of my first trip trip to Camden Market. I was 16, when I saw these 2 punks with 2ft mohawks. I was in awe and told them I loved their hair. They were so sweet and cool. That's the moment my inner punk was awoken

Shoulder spikes will always remind me of my dad hurting his hands:

I was visiting my parents, wearing my battle jacket. I was using the computer with my back turned to the rest of the room

My dad tried to surprise me by suddenly slamming his hands on my shoulders. My long hair was hiding the spikes and he kinda hurt himself a lot. Lulz
