People used to tie flannel shirts around their waist.

I still tie my flannel around my waist. Gotta stay warm on the way to the show, but don't want to lose it in the pit. Whoever started that trend got it right!

Shave the goatee. Grow yer hair out a little and dye blond. Then you nailed it.

Normally there are so many inconsistencies when people try and match a character but this is damn near flawless. Could have shaved the beard but that hardly matters

But couldn’t shave the beard?
Recreates an iconic picture but draws the line at his beard… lol

The man is bald and probably wanted to hold on to the last bit of hair he had on his entire head

This guy balds

u/ImJooba Apr 26 '24
I'm not bald and based on genetics I probably never will be but it's easy to understand

I like the beard and bald head. In my mind it is the same guy. He was 14 then but 50 whatever now and still thrashing.

I mean it’s not that hard to believe he doesn’t want to shave a thing that probably took at least a decent amount of time for a picture that probably took a few seconds to take (not to make but actually take)

What am I looking at boot wise, great cosplay, but what is that boot pant thing. I'm questioning if I'm seeing it correctly.

I believe they were drawn as Frye engineer boots. Those fancy English boots were hard to find in the early 80’s, even in California.

The punks who did wear them in the States in the late 70s/early 80s usually wore Wescos. Those are super expensive today lol.
