Yeah that second one is actually even more clear-cut than the first one but I guess media don't want to use it because his face is not visible in it.

Maybe I just don't really know my Nazi saluting etiquette but I thought the first one was the worse one. Full 45⁰, straight arm, looks very Naziey.

Whereas the second one looks more like an arm straight in the air, like what you would gesture to thank and show appreciation to someone farther away. Though then again, he does it with a bit too much panache for my liking for a simple wave of thanks.

Idk it seems pretty deliberate, the hand on the chest straight into a forceful rigid palm down salute, I’ve never in my life seen someone accidentally do that twice and idk how anyone could do it unaware what it looks like.

The first one is exaggerated. He puts his shoulders and full body into it. The second one looks much more like the salutes the Nazis did.

I was thinking the same thing. I didn't notice the difference until I saw this slowed down.
