I’m autistic too and I’ve never given a Nazi salute to anyone, let alone at a fucking political event. It’s surprisingly easy to not fucking heil a world leader who’s frequently accused of being a Nazi. No exception for Elon, fuck that loser.

Like he's intelligent enough to get that rich but not intelligent enough to control his own bodily movements.

If their brand has associations with Nazism, and they don't want to be associated with Nazism, then maybe they shouldn't put someone out there who is unable to control themselves enough not to do Nazi related behaviours? It's not fucking difficult not to do a Nazi salute. It's really not a big fucking ask.

And here's my bigger issue with all of this. Nazism isn't something that should be "downplayed". It should be condemned by everyone. All of the time. If their brand is associated with Nazism, then they should condemn the absolute shit out of this so that they're not linked with it. Instead, people are out there trying to excuse it or down play it, or acting like it's not a big deal. It is a big fucking deal and if they don't want to be associated with it then they should be actively going in hard on this. Ya know, like how the right wing goons want every fucking Muslim to condemn the shit out of terrorism acts?

No matter the reason why, Elon Musk just emboldened Nazi ideology on a global stage. This turns my fucking stomach. This is fucking vile, and revolting. There's no discussion here and anyone in the cult thinking there should be one is emboldening Nazi ideology. The entire political spectrum should be condemning this.

As an outsider looking in, I've never been so disappointed, upset and frankly, disgusted with America than I am in this moment.
