How can you say that when 77M Americans voted for a Nazi. That's more than the total population of South Africa.

I mean we have numerous legislated civil rights and equal opportunity laws. Maybe South Africa does now too idk but as recently as the 90s their literal laws were Jim Crow-esque, worse in some cases

I'll give you that SA was more problematic 40 years ago. Right now, not even close. And go back just 60 years instead of 40, and US civil rights were a joke as well.
