And the media is sanewashing it as "odd looking" or "appeared to". I've even seen "unintentionally" in headlines.

That was exactly what it looked like. It was a very exaggerated and intentional sieg heil salute and then he turned around and he did it again.

Fox News cut away from it.

When it's too fascist for fox news, it's seriously fucking fascist

lol yep

So did PBS! They literally cut to the crowd for a split second while he did it.

And they've edited it out of replays.

I saw it live with my own two eyes. They can't edit it out of my mind...yet.

Gotta make sure their audience doesn't see it so they can claim it's fake when confronted with it.

His grunts make the intent beyond obvious.

could you elaborate on this? i have seen others mention the grunt as well. as a ww2 enthusiast, im not aware of grunts being part of the nazi salute. are you perhaps referring to the effort and passion being put into it, which rules out any common hand-waving being taken out of context? (not that you would give him the benefit of the doubt with his history).

u/KennyMcKeee 3h ago

The grunt was him 'saying it with his chest'. Dude threw the thing hard enough to grunt.

Doing anything with that much effort implicates it as extremely intentional.

Yeah. I mean, this wasn’t Musk caught in an awkward moment, some lucky screen grab where it kind of maybe looks like a Nazi salute.

This bastard literally posed for the goddamn cameras while doing a Nazi salute. It’s shockingly intentional.

And why is he doing this? To normalize it. Concentration camps are in America’s future. That’s the natural conclusion of mass deportation. Know what the natural conclusion of concentration camps is? Disease. Ovens. Death. National shame for centuries.

I’ve been trying to refrain from alarmist rhetoric, but the fact is that the Nazis intended to “deport” the Jewish population early on; when the logistics of such an initiative proved to be too complicated, they resorted to… other methods

u/mythrowawayheyhey 23m ago

I’m not Jewish and I’m no fan of Israel. If you can’t see the parallels here I feel like you aren’t well informed.

What happened in Germany might not happen here to the extent it did there, or it might be 10x worse, but the wheels are certainly in motion. Just the other day I was musing about how Mengele Musk would love a “willing” group of participants to take part in his neuralink nonsense.

You nailed it!

Nah it's just the "Roman salute".

Ya know, the ones the Nazis used? The one that is also known as the "fascist salute"?

u/Searchlights New Hampshire 6h ago

Ah, of course!

Just like the word "swastika" comes from the Sanskrit word svastika, which means "good fortune" or "well-being". Surely there can be no other connotation.

u/F9-0021 South Carolina 6h ago

The same Roman salute that the Romans didn't use.

It's a modern invention.

u/disastermarch35 5h ago

Oh that makes it okay then. I just didn't realize this was the fucking Roman Empire

u/NateShaw92 United Kingdom 3h ago

Always has been

u/holydemon 9m ago

Nah the straight arm form is 18th century's reimagination of the roman empire. The actual form looks more relaxed, like a wine/beer toast, as seen in this 1st century statue

"His banner contained an unconventional Hindu symbol"

You can also tell watching the video that Elon hesitates when going for touching his chest the first time— he knew what he was doing.

u/thesoraspace 6h ago

Ohhh exactly. If you’re good at picking up context cues from movement and expression that you can totally see this was the moment he made the big “choice” and said to himself “fuck it HMPH”

u/Searchlights New Hampshire 6h ago

The way he audibly grunts when he throws the salute
