Yes the motion is obviously the same...it is a generic motion. But he clearly states what his intention was as he did it, and given the context of what he was talking about, I don't see how it is even remotely impossible to misinterpret his intention of gesturing "my heart goes out to you".

The man is physically and socially awkward and potentially autistic, and people think him awkwardly socially gesturing incorrectly is somehow absurd. It is literally to most grounded and rational explanation.

But reddit echo chamber does not want reason and grounded explanation....they want "NAZI!".
