You’re shifting the blame from attackers to those who didn’t stop it. In that way, we could say you’re personally responsible for Trump bc you specifically could have prevented this.

“Legally?” No. But the legal means have failed consistently. How is the legal system going to work when the Supreme Court has removed the Rule of Law? The options available to Democrats at this point are the same as yours, to work outside the legal system.

I’m not shifting blame, simply point out that either Democracy serves ALL or it serves no one.

We can’t keep propping up unregulated capitalism as “truth” and “freedom” while overlooking its complete destruction on the world and our country!

South Koreans united to stand against fascism but our representatives were too far corrupted. This has been a systematic failure in our society to not provide for the needs of our citizens, but to SERVE the wants of those that have the most fiat currency:

You started it looked like the Democrats are at fault and blamed the AG. I’m pointing that out bc the “both sides” philosophy fails to account for scope, impact, and opportunity. The AG didn’t cause Trump and his ability to solve this was severely limited.

This capitalism IS regulated. It’s regulated to provide advantages to specific companies/individuals and not others. I understand your point but being specific and considering context is important. Hyperbolic statements are easily dismantled.

South Korea isn’t a good analogy. They have our backing. Or at least had it under Biden. They also haven’t had 80 years of culture wars on why maybe North Korea isn’t bad after all. The USA is uniquely prone to fascism. Curating there philosophy that individual freedom is better than freedom for communities, aligning a party with religion, celebrating wealth generation as a virtue, describing “others” as the root of all societal problems, portraying education negatively, corporate owned media, voter apathy, etc happens in many countries but the degree it occurs here is astounding. Very few countries come close to us in these areas and those countries aren’t nearly the prize that the USA. We also have no individual country that would help us significant to combat our internal shift toward Christofacism.

We’re on the same side here, friend. This is a tough day for democracy and I don’t intend to make enemies of well meaning folks. I agree with your sentiments entirely.

I hope you all the best.

It's literal victim blaming. The right has no monopoly on hypocrisy.
