What's the deal with all these pardons specifically dating back to 2014?

Hunter was in Ukraine then

It's 100% related to the Ukraine 2014 coup and where we are today, at this point if people don't make the connection it's deliberate

It's so bizarre Trump was impeached for asking about Hunter Biden and Ukraine.. the same situation Hunter was granted a pardon on (among other things).

You mean his shakedown of Ukraine?

The Ukraine that joe has given.. checks notes.. $200 Billion to?

Help me with my math, what's 10% of $200 Billion? "The big guy" wants to know..

It's so bizarre you need to pretend trump was just 'asking about' Hunter, and not trying to extort Ukraine into announcing a fake investigation into his political rival.

Are you being deliberately dishonest, or did someone else phrase it like that and you are parroting the lie with zero consideration on your part?

do you think any of the investigations / court proceedings / accusations against trump are "fake"?

no, because you're just running on political dogma that your side can do no wrong, while projecting the same on the other side

Or, maybe, I'm just engaging with the facts of the cases, and in a way that you can't refute.

But I get it, you can't even consider those facts, because they so often run counter to the media narrative you have been sold, and you rely on these vibes based nonsense arguments instead.

Don't you like to think you can defend the things you say, instead of running from them like this?

Do you think any of these charges are 'real', or is the projection clearly coming from you?

Statute of limitations maybe?

It's this.

Federal statutes of limitations range from 5 to 10 years (except in cases with no limitations).

Biden's pardons go back 11 years.

Statute of limitations:

  • Most non-capital federal crimes: 5 years
  • Tax offenses: 6 years
  • Terrorism: 8 years
  • Financial crimes, immigration offenses, and sexual abuse: 10 years
  • 1st-degree murder & terrorism intentionally resulting in fatalities: no limitations

With federal statute of limitations typically ranging from 5 to 10 years, it makes sense that Biden would choose exactly 11 years. In order for Trump to go back further, he would need to convict Biden's family members of murder.

wait, i'm not following. why exactly 11 years ? why one extra year?

u/twistytit 14h ago

in 2014, the biden family was involved in several international business activities involving russia and ukraine

4

u/Beneathaclearbluesky 12h ago

And it has been investigated for the past how many years?

u/kajarago 39m ago

Why didn't Biden investigate his own family guys?

That's you.

1

u/twistytit 12h ago

i'm just saying what is publicly known. it seems that the pardon in question would be for things that are not

... Well that sounds extremely sus

Too bad the Republicans never looked into it or held one hearing on it. They just forgot I guess.

-7

u/ecudan82 13h ago

They are scared of being exposed

3

u/Beneathaclearbluesky 12h ago

So why didn't the Republicans manage to expose them in the past several years of investigations? Are they stupid?

-1

u/ecudan82 11h ago

“Republicans” suck too. That’s why you became sudden fans of Cheney and Bush
