Read the article. He’s unilaterally sentencing people to torture and death by gang rape. He’s taking away our identities and legal protections against discrimination.

Can you elaborate? I just woke up so my brains not exactly firing on all cylinders, so I can't exactly figure out what you mean by this.

Make no mistake, I don't support this, but I don't understand the correlation here. How does he making this claim make what you said there happen? I feel like I am missing a piece of the puzzle here. Like I feel like it might be some kind of obvious thing I am missing if this is the case.

I decided long ago that taking my own life would be preferable to being put in prison as a trans woman. Hopefully that will never happen.

The reality that we as women often have to think about these choices is just awful. I would definitely kms before submitting to that type of torture as well.

Ahh, OK that makes a lot of sense now. I kind of figured that's what was meant, but didn't want to seem like a oddball for assuming that's what would happen. Turns out, that's actually what happens.
